Christine and Todd Thomas are rare and wonderful inn keepers, historians and just incredible people so it's no wonder that a stay in their inn is truly heavenly. They start your day with a breakfast that will carry you through the day. They can direct you to events, shops, anything Gettysburg and the surrounding area. The care that is obvious...

We stayed on a Saturday in June. We were excited about being able to stay right on the battlefield but the location really does not give you much of an advantage as you still have to drive everywhere. The walls are thin and on our stay the guests were so loud. Absolutely no regard for other guests. The staff was...

My second stay at this charming B&B, only one located on a battlefield of the Civil War. Christine, Todd, and of course Molly very welcoming and helpful. Our room very comfortable with huge bathroom. Breakfasts delicious. Especially enjoyed the garden, the views from the property at early morning sunrise and mist vistas, a photographers dream. Todd and Christine are a...

This is a lovely, traditional B&B with extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. The freshly cooked breakfasts are creative and delicious. The rooms are very small but very nicely furnished and fresh and clean. Being right on the battlefield is an advantage and the views are delightful, It is a little walk into town for meals.

Christine, Todd, and Molly provide superior hospitality. The combination of the Inn, its great inkeepers, and location on Oak Ridge(the site of part of the battle on July 1) makes the Doubleday Inn a top choice among Gettysburg b&b's. We look forward to our return to the Doubleday.

On our first trip to Gettysburg, we stayed 2 nights at this B&B in the Sallie and Ramseur rooms. The Sallie was adorable and the perfect size for our teenager and the Ramseur was adequate for us. Todd and Christine are wonderful hosts, helpful in every way. We really enjoyed sitting at the breakfast table listening to the lively banter...

Six adults met here for our once a year get-together. Perfect location with Battlefield views, driveway and walks cleared of snow, hosts were waiting for us and were very helpful and knowledgable about the area, nice rooms, very clean. Fresh cookies and a warm fire. Breakfast was excellent. We would all return again!

If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable and picturesque place to stay while in Gettysburg, look no further than the Doubleday Inn!!! Each room is unique, with charming, "period correct" furniture and decor. Everything is well maintained, very clean, and accommodating. We stayed in the Iverson room, which has an amazing view! The Inn is right in the middle...

As others have said this B and B location can't be beat! Loved sitting on the lawn at sunset with a glass of wine overlooking the battlefield as well as viewing the morning mist over the valley while eating a wonderful breakfast! The hosts were extremely helpful, the inn was charming, loved Molly the golden, and only a few minutes...
