Average accommodations, best part is the golf course across the street. Breakfast is mediocre, hard boiled eggs and pastries (no bacon, sausage or scrambled eggs). Staff is nice, especially Mary. Very dissapointed that foxnews is blocked in the lobby and the manager will not permit foxnews to be seen in the lobby.

Stopped here on the way to Miami. Usually stay at Mayport, so wasn't sure of what to expect here. Everyone we met, from the helpful gate guard to the checking person, to the busy Evelyn at Mulligans pub across the street provided exceptional service. We'll definitely want to return.

Really place. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Kitchenette was clean and well stocked ( pots, pans, utensils.....etc.). I would stay again. Great place for a short stay with a family. Many friendly people in the area.

We were awed initially by the private parking space reserved for our room. The entrance through the patio was a nice touch. The exit from the bedroom to the patio was a bonus. There is the standard entrance from the hallway. With two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen ( minus an oven) and a living room was quite homey!

Glad we stayed here vs the Gateway Inn and Suites. It is much quieter. Nicely appointed room, comfortable bed. Walking distance to golf club restaurant, which was adequate. Nothing to brag about. Went to the Gateway Inn to check it out. They have a bar overlooking the river which is very nice. Great rates for the room. If you can...

I expected government employee attitudes, being pushed around, being mistreated. Boy, was I wrong! This lodge is just like a civilian hotel. It's clean, it's comfortable, it's spacious, it's a great deal. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Front desk manager is especially interested in making guests feel welcomed and comfortable. I will stay here again should I have the...

The Navy Lodge was going thru some remodeling while we stayed there so there was more noise and dust than normal. The room was clean, the kitchenette was a great feature and the breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day.

This review is for the Lodge not to be confused with the Inn & Suites; check~in got off to a rocky start but smoothed out by the end; I learned to choose my battles wisely long ago. Took awhile to get checked in but once the process was over I headed to the room, decent space, clean and very roomy...

Room was awesome, and clean. We had a view of the water from our room, and I would go down to the double deck and watch the manatee every morning. Annita at the T-Bar was very friendly, remembered our names and what we liked to drink, and went out of her way for us. Although there is construction currently on...
