The best part about this place is a spacious room with all kinds of old-fashioned decor where you can relax, read a book, play one of the many board games, or "go modern" and connect to the internet. This was my favorite part of the house. I also liked our bedroom and the private bathroom. The location is central, about...

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at this B&B several months ago. So much so, that enroute home I enthusiastically wrote a glowing review via iPhone. Alas, technology. As I submitted it, something went wrong and the entire thing disappeared(!) Regretfully, it's taken me awhile to get back to this, but I want to be sure to...

This house is typical of the Prairie Style of the 20's/30's. It is immaculately maintained by the owners, Tom and Ila Rae. Upon arrival, I was met by Ila Rae who offered several suggestions of things to do/restaurants in the area. Although I am a long time resident of the area, I was unfamiliar with Riverside/Five Points so this was...

This gem is just like a walk back in time. A beautiful home with clean and quaint rooms. The owners are wonderful people! The food is outstanding and the coffee is brewed fresh each and every day. I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone who is looking for accommodations in the Jacksonville area.

One of the best things about this B&B is the location. It was just minutes drive away from downtown where I needed to go. Other than that, I was quite disappointed. The street it's on is a thoroughfare being very busy and loud. Late at night, cars raced loudly on nearby streets. The bathroom was okay but really needed updating...

I've never had more pleasant accomodations at any B&B or hotel in my years of traveling. IIa Rae and Tom are knowledgeable with Florida history, water conservation, gardening and more. The Jenks House itself is beautiful preserved and the room was perfect. The breakfast both mornings contained fruit from their personal garden (which is a must see!) and not a...

We loved this Bed and Breakfast. We have family very close by and it was wonderful to walk to their home. Tom and Ila Rae were most gracious and extremely delightful. They invited our children to breakfast on our last day there, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The inn is comfortable and full of charm. Both are willing and...

We booked to stay at The Jenks House quite late, but we weren't disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome. Would recommend staying here to anyone, great breakfast where the hosts joined us, which was a nice touch. Close to local amenites for dinner in the evening. Nice and comfy bed.

Seriously, when have you ever slept on ironed sheets? Who would have known it makes such a difference? The Jenks House is a lovely property: immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, spacious. Tom and Ila Rae are sweet and helpful, clearly committed to ensuring you are comfortable and enjoy your stay. The rates were reasonable, and the accommodations quite comfortable. Breakfast, while...

We had a nice one night stand and enjoyed talking with Tom and having breakfast with him and Ila Rae in the morning. There are only two rooms and both have window air conditioning. If you like heavy coffee ask Tom to make it extra strong.
