This motel was a very nice surprise. It is a 1950s motel that has been remodeled in the theme of the 1950s. The room and décor were very nice and quiet. The shower in the bathroom may be problematic for tall people though. The owner (sorry but I don't remember her name) was extremely nice and pleasant and was most...

Had great night there ! The owner was super friendly and was an awesome host! I would definitely stay there again! They were in the middle of extensive renovations but we were aware and didn't really offer a problem. The new things he was planning on doing sound AMAZING!!!

This motel has come under new ownership. Carpets and matters are new. New decor and paint job. Walls are thin and while you don't really hear street noise you can hear noise from balcony and rooms next door. A nice lobby? Helpful staff, & complimentary snacks and drinks. Room clean. It's an older building and you can tell in some...

We spontaneously booked this motel for price and reviews. Upon checking in we were greeted by an adorably enthusiastic woman who I believe is the owner. She gave us great tips about activities and invited us to taste her homemade fantastic clam chowder. The rooms are recently cosmetically renovated and have a 50's style. At first it looks really cute...

If you're looking for something a little different, this is a great place to stay. If you're looking for a luxurious place with tons of amenities, this may not be your place. This motel is great example of a place that's leftover from the good old days of travel. Funky and functional, with everything that you need but nothing excessive....

I moved here after a very cold night with no internet at another hotel (and I needed to use internet for family business.) I had a bad day and was greeted with homemade soup in the lobby, help with printing forms, and a clean, comfortable bed. I really like the decor as well! Great management there!

So glad we chose to stay here as part of our road trip. Room was extremely clean and smelled good. Great branding throughout by management. Shower was wicked powerful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay again!!

After a week of budget hotels we we're very pleased to check in to the Atomic Hotel. The husband and wife (?) at the check in desk were very personable and friendly, going above and beyond to see that we were satisfied with our room checking in. They even had a power point tour of the town and maps to...

Planning a brief escape, I searched for an old standby motel, the Lamplighter, only to find it MIA. What I did find needed examination of the web site photos to verify that the Atomic Motel was indeed the same building right next to the Pig'n a Poke restaurant. What a relief! I tend toward older, tiny-business lodging with an emphasis...

This motel has a fun mid-century modern theme, with more-or-less original baths and exterior plus all-new furnishings, paint & carpet. Super clean and very friendly. Morning pastries are home-made (at least some of the time) and really tasty.
