The last time we were in Fort Davis we walked through the Limpia lobby and said, Next time we're staying here. So this time we stayed at the Limpia and we were not disappointed. We were in the original building - friends cautioned us to specify it - and found ourselves in a delightful old place that is being very...

The hotel Limpia is a charming and centrally located hotel in west Texas. Great lobby and plenty of rocking chairs to spend slow-paced days. Enjoyed their swimming pool too and bar and grill with patio dining option. I 20 minute scenic drive takes you to the McDonald Observatory and a 30 minute drive to trendy Marfa. The suites outside are...

I have stayed in many small/quaint bed and breakfasts and inns - both good and bad. This one looked like it was going to be a cute place in historic west Texas and I had high hopes. But the reality was that it was unsafe, dirty, not maintained, and expensive. It was one of the worst rooms I have ever...

Our family so enjoyed the accommodations and hospitality of this quaint, authentic hotel with tons of history. Our room was comfortable, with sleeping for 4, and the porches and grounds were charming and accessible for our 9 & 7 yr olds. There were guests of all profiles enjoying the same amenities. We had excellent meals at the restaurant, a hearty...

We stayed in a historic room. Everything was clean and looked nice but the beds were very uncomfortable. We had a room where the windows were a part of a shared balcony. We tried completely closing the curtains but that didn't quite work. The staff was friendly and the hotel was quaint.

Vintage hotel. Has a parlor with a piano and old Victrola, historic pictures and decor. Lg Closed in porch with rockers and wicker furniture, with ac and ceiling fans. Tables to play the provided games on. We spent a lot of time playing monopoly with our grandson, so much fun. There were dominoes and other games also. Within walking distance...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this antique filled hotel. Had a balcony right outside the room with rocking chairs. The beds were very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The gentleman who checked us in was so helpful and gave us lots of great ideas of interesting things to do in the area. No coffee in the...

It is nice to find a historic hotel that is also clean and comfortable. The Hotel Limpia is such a place. We stayed in the "historic" building, which had modern facilities, was clean and quiet, and a decent price although not a great value. Its association with Fort Davis was a nice connection. Rooms were spacious, and common areas were...

This historic hotel was such a delight! Our room was upstairs and had the creaky wood floors covered in carpet just as you would expect from an early 1900's hotel. It was very quaint and charming, decorated with furniture from the time period. It was furnished with everything we needed from a nice shower to cable TV. The manager was...
