This is a nice spot to stay if you need to be in Mount Vernon. Rooms are clean, quiet and they have a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy, but perfectly acceptable accommodations.

The location was great for me. I came by train and the station is 5 minutes away. Great neighborhood for walking and dining, short ride to harbor, and most places. The staff is first rate, helpful in every way. The room was large, elegant, and beautifully furnished. Continental breakfast had more variety than most in small hotels so I was...

This hotel is located near the water in the old part of Baltimore. This is an old hotel with character on the outside and needs to be a little more modern on the inside. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on what and where to go in Baltimore. Overall ok

I've stayed at the Brexton midweek on business. I am resolved to come back for a weekend getaway (provided I don't meet anyone here on business.) The place has real charm, with different layouts for each room. I love it when you walk in the door and you aren't faced immediately by the bed or beds. It's not a checkerboard...

We stayed one night on a Sunday. Room was average, need confortable. Staff was helpful and very accomodating. Beautiful, historic hotel. Nicely renovated. The furniture in our room looked pretty worn though it was functional. Not what I would have expected from a renovation of this caliber. All in all would stay again.
