The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is close to the harbor and several restaurants, one grocery store, a pharmacy, all within walking distance. The front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. Saturday nights are noisy with sirens.

We had a great stay at this Hyatt. Convenient location right next to Inner Harbor and Fell's Point neighborhood. Very safe area. Every staff member from reception and housekeeping was very friendly, helpful, and professional. We were able to check in early (we had left another hotel early because of safety/cleanliness issues) and checked out an hour late. Room and bathroom were both spacious and very clean.

We were quoted a specific amount for the room, and were charged $50 more than we were told it would be for the room. We had mold above our closet/armoire in the room that we noticed the second night we were there. It was incredibly musty smelling in all of the hotel hallways and in our room. Especially around the mold/armoire. My receipt on check out said $120 in extra charges JUST FOR PARKING TWO CARS, FOR TWO NIGHTS (which is insane if you ask me), were charged $30 a night to park when we were told it would be $25, AND THEN they took $150 instead of the already insane amount of $120. Parking was not even secure, and is self park instead of valet. Hotel access doors are not secure off parking either, and neither is the elevator. Baltimore is a rough city, and security should be a higher priority. There was major construction in front of the hotel making it very difficult to figure out where to go, and leaving no where else to park. This will be the last time I stay with Hyatt, as this was my second bad experience with their hotels in a year.

Visited Baltimore for a girls weekend getaway to relax and enjoy what the harbor had to offer. To my surprise I was in for a rude awakening when it came to accommodations. This hotel did not meet the advertised standards it bragged about. The room being a high floor I requested a nice view, did NOT happen the only view I got was of the large parking lot below and a clear view of the local Whole Foods store. I could tell from the time I walked in the room it was not up to standard when I noticed how warm it was. Yes, after returning from dinner we found the room to be too warm as if the AC was not working. We called the front desk and found no engineer was on duty so the desk clerk responded to look at the unit. and as we thought once the panel was removed the entire AC unit was frozen over and not functioning. Prior to having to change rooms due to the non-functioning unit the quilt blanket was removed entirely from the bed as it was clear to be either dirty or very dingy and I refused to even consider sleeping anywhere near it. The couch was clearly stained as well having also looking just worn and used. I could go on but I will leave it there. We were moved to the room next door which I must admit appeared to be a renovated room which left me to think why were we not assigned this room from the start. I wish I had known prior to booking the location pet friendly I would not have made the reservation as the pets where everywhere. I would NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone in my opinion. I only booked under the assumption an area restaurant I wanted to try was located within the hotel. The Black Swan restaurant is not in this hotel but just around the corner so no need to book here. I will also be watching my card to be credited back after being charged twice for the daily $30 parking fee they charge even if your a patron. Also know there is a $75 hold placed for incidentals as well where as most only do $50. We will visit Baltimore again but definitely will not stay here.

When me my brother and our best friend arrived in Baltimore for my little brothers Birthday weekend it started off bad. The previous hotel we checked in was not to our standards so we immediately checked out and headed to the Hyatt! When we checked in the front desk attendants were so polite and respectful and understanding of the situation and knowing we where there to enjoy ourselves and stay safe from the COVID 19 virus! All in all the hotel was very clean up to date, I even saw staff there whole time I was there clean. So I’m my opinion it’s a very safe place to stay on vacation for you or you and your family. The fact that you have a complementary breakfast served every morning was awesome. I definitely will be back at the Hyatt place my next visit.
