A group of four girls looking for a quick overnight stay to get away. We decided to come to the Historic Summit Inn for its unique historical building and views. We only live about an hour away from the location so it seems to be the perfect place for a quick trip. Upon arriving on Saturday evening there was no...

Food was good and came out pretty quick for how busy it was. Our waitress, whose name I cannot remember, seemed irritated to be working and annoyed when we asked questions about the menu. She's really the only reason I'm noting giving it an excellent rating.

Loved the inn but the rooms show its age. Tiny bath, tiny room, very dated but also very clean. Restaurant is excellent if overpriced. The calm of the porch makes it worth it, though it is noisy as a result of the highway traffic.[ Will go back. Just don;t expect a typical contemporary resort experience

This vintage Inn was simply gorgeous--classic ambience from another time, with a relaxed vibe that encourages you to slow down and enjoy the world around you. The stained glass lights, fireplaces and decorative accents in the lobby were simply divine. Our room was cozy, without feeling cramped, neat and tidy. The front porch has a stunning view of the valley,...

I love the lobby with its wood paneling and stone hearth. The hallways are creaky and the rooms musty. The view is great but the treehouse seems out of place. Probably will not go back. The food is quite nice but over priced. The service is slow and the attitude of the servers could use a lot of improvement

We stopped here to stay overnight but it was booked, so we had dinner instead. It is a charming Inn with incredible views. The Inn overlooks the town of Uniontown below and a panorama of mountains. We had a relaxed meal in the pub.The food was excellent. The salads were very fresh. The chicken pot pie was homemade and delicious. The...

First for the good. Great location if you are doing the National Park/Falling Water tours. Great western views for sunsets. Nice public areas with plenty of history. Fireplace in lobby with wood burning fireplace. Clean rooms. Good dining room (had Elk Stew for dinner) Family owned. Now for the bad. Had a two bed room. Other than the beds, one...

This hotel sits on the summit of Rt. 40, which is the historic National Road. The hotel retains its old charm (some of the rooms can be dated, but some have had a facelift) and still uses keys for the doors. Nothing fancy in the room and the satellite can go out when the wind blows, but the king bed...

I drove up from Cincinnati with a girlfriend to see Fallingwater. We got a package from the Summit Inn that included martinis, a huge snack basket, two nights at the hotel, massages, and a packed picnic lunch. We had a great time and also toured the inn's treehouse Black Bear Bungalow. We loved the ambience of the inn and the...

This hotel looks quaint and is historic, however, our room had a musty odor. The carpet was spotted with stains and dirt and there were little round brown droppings of some sort - could have been a chocolate, could have been something else. You could tell that the room was not vacuumed recently as there was a 6-inch border of...
