I have stayed at this hotel before Covid and it was marginally clean. In this visit the room was filthy. The shower had visible dirt and a nice pubic hair stuck to the wall. The bathroom floor had sticky stains in front of the toilet. The couch was so stained that I wouldn't consider even putting a suitcase on it. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my lifetime. More than a few during Covid. This was by far the most dirty one I can recall. To add insult to injury, the hotel price includes a breakfast. The include a colorful card with your key that says that they have drastically reduced the breakfast hours, they close at whatever am and the line can typically be MORE THAN 30 minutes. I assume that is meant to discourage you from attempting to get the breakfast you were charged for AND that if the line exceeds the closing time , you are out of luck. Hiltons are not spectacular hotels for the most part, but if they want to keep what reputation they have left, I would strongly consider taking a close look at whether this hotel lives up to their brand standards.…
We came to Savannah 2 years ago for our 20th Anniversary, and decided to make a repeat trip for our 22nd. We booked at the last minute and had wanted to stay close to River Street, but availability kind of pushed us to the Airport area. We are frequent Embassy Suite customers, so chose the Airport location for our 3 night stay. The Pros & Cons: Room was great. Clean, spacious, quiet. COVID dictates no room service unless you request it. We asked for clean towels and they were promptly delivered. Staff - we didn't encounter anyone without a smile. Very welcoming. Dottie checked us in and she was very friendly and informative! Location - Just across the street from the Tanger Outlet mall, so lots of shopping and dining options. Breakfast seemed a little crazy on all 3 days. There was an omelet line but if you didn't want an omelet, you could sort of cut the line and just get the other items, but it always felt like those who were waiting for an omelet didn't really like that. Maybe some better defination on where to go for what. The evening reception was very basic (Thank you COVID) but our bartender was great. I wish I had gotten her name - she was 1 person in charge of it all, but handled everthing quickly & with a sense of humor. This hotel is close to the airport, but an easy drive to the downtown area. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. Our friends got there first and his text to me said "This is a really NICE hotel". He was right!!…
The carpet to the entrance door was dirty and needed cleaning. The sofa bed mattress was awful and had 2 burnt holes in it. It was not fit to sleep on and was need for an extra person. I checked out a day earlier and stayed elsewhere.
No pool; skip the manager's reception; room was not cleaned to Hilton standards; some maintenance required in room ; location from 95 is convenient as is the room configuration; what few personnel work there were all very pleasant and doing the best they could; breakfast was adequate
Very disappointed, I was not told the pool was closed when I called for a reservation and requested a room near the pool. My room had a stain on the curtain and stains on the ottoman. When I went to the lobby in the morning to get a cup of coffee it was empty. I was sitting at the last table in the lobby while my husband when to the cafeteria to get me one. I was told very rudely I could not have my small dog there. I paid $75 extra and coul not be in the lobby.
