This campground is very nice, we take our dogs with us and it is a huge plus when you stay at a place that has plenty of place to walk your dogs away from other campsites. There is also a very nice game room and farm animals to see.

What a beautiful RV park on a farm with beautiful big live oak trees, animals, lakes, very quiet, and peaceful. Great staff, very helpful with information about Savannah, handling all your questions with a smile. The only drawback is no cable, but they do have very good internet. The park has easy access for getting into Savannah, plus they give...

I have waited a while to write this. This Campground offers nothing - is a big open field. If you want convenience to Savannah, it's just a place to "hook up". The ladies in the office are nice, but the total place lacks in organization and common sense. I noticed a lady near us attempting to connect her pop-up to...

This was very convenient for visiting Savannah. Some sites are in full sun, so be aware of that. The best thing about it was the office staff, they will do whatever they can to help you. It looks like it would be a fabulous place for a wedding.

Reserved pull through site with electric/water/septic weeks out but was given "overflow" back-in site upon arrival. Lake sites have a nice view but there's no septic there. RV lots not well marked and there's very little shade. Bathrooms leave a lot to be desired- unless it doesn't bother you that the guy in the RV next to the "John's John"...

If you have an RV and want to visit Savannah, there is no other place to stay than Red Gate. It's very close to the city, it has all the amenities in surreal, beautiful and spacious surroundings and it's documented history dates back to the Civil War. A MUST STAY for sure!

Ours is a smaller RV thus parked in the treed area (nice)! Large farm, big ponds, horses, great facilities, friendly/helpful staff. Large grounds thus no feeling of being crowded. Trolly stops at their office - convenient to downtown. We drove into Savannah the next day and was easy.

We could not get a regular RV site as they were all booked but did secure a dry camping spot. Check in was easy. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. When we asked if we could have a campfire we were told we could not in the area they were assigning us to...however, there is an...

This campground has a very efficient check-in process with lots of information provided regarding the campground as well as directions to historic district, gas stations, shopping, attractions, health-related services and parking. Campground office has many brochures describing sightseeing attractions and tours. If you purchase Old Town Trolley tickets at the campground office, the trolley will come right to the campground...

The campground meets all of the basic requirements: clean, well maintained, level sites and friendly staff. They have a good, fairly quiet (just a little bit of road noise in the background) location. You can pick up a hop-on, hop-off trolley right at the the campground - great for RVers who don't tow a vehicle.
