Location was prime. We walked the whole historic district. The parks are so nice. The rooms at the hotel are updated and lovely. I love the vibe of a comfortable place to stay and enjoy my surroundings.

Hotel's Favourite
From the moment we arrived, Jordie made us feel at home! First, let me say we stayed a month prior to this at the Gastonian (which is the sister property and also, excellent). I love this location, it is even closer to the historical area and even easier to walk to the river front, eateries and Leopold ice cream. We felt very comfortable even during this time of Covid-19; they took every step to protect theirselves and their guests without it feeling weird. We met 4 other couples, two celebrating their 25th anniversary and one their 50th. Jordie and Jennifer took time to be interested and engaging with their guests, like family and Samantha never let us go with the amenities ... our wine and snacks before dinner and then our dessert and beverage before bed. The cookie on the pillow at turndown, wow ... loved it. Rita, checked in on us and was such a pleasure to get to know. Kiki, breakfast "queen" and Chef C arrived in the mornings to deliver our breakfast on the upper veranda, with that smiling face and bubbling cheer. The ladies who, I am sorry I didn't get their names but they hustled behind the scenes to keep everything clean ... we felt so spoiled to the point that when we left, it was like leaving family after a wonderful visit. We have been telling everyone we know here in Virginia and others, its a must to first go stay at the Kehoe House and second, tour Savannah as a plus. Cannot wait to return

Response from Jennifer Watson, Guest Services / Front Office at Kehoe House

Dear Mark B, Wow what an amazing review! The Kehoe House staff can't thank you enough for all your kind words and for sharing your experience with everyone. The house is in a wonderful location on Columbia Square! Quiet enough to enjoy the local neighborhood but a street down from all the shops, restaurants, and walking distance to the river front. Our staff love to make sure you make the most of your visit and enjoy the comforts of Southern Hospitality! Thank you again for staying with us we hope you will return to your home away from home! Warm Regards, Jennifer Watson Guest Service Supervisor

This place looks good but be aware there is no enforcement of quiet time at all specially on the 1st floor. The noise is horrible ppl come in drunk talking out loud & laughing; on the upper floors the floor creaks and the steps can be heard like the floor is going to break. The walls also don't hold noise one can hear everything on the other side. The staff response to my complaint was" We can not control who comes to the door, but it will stop at midnight when the door closes" SO BE PREPARE TO BE AWAKE TILL MIDNIGHT" What kind of hotel is this. AC also doesn't work. Bunch of nonsense

Very disappointed - The Kehoe House while lovely and historic certainly is in need of some attention by its staff and management. Upon arrival the first impression you will receive is of a very out of character front desk, very cluttered and does not match the other accommodations. Once in our guest suite, immediately we noticed light bulbs burnt out in the ceiling chandelier, and our table side lamp didn't work due to a burnt out light bulb. We also found that the toilet had been used and not flushed. The inside of the bathroom door by the knob clearly hadn't been wiped down in a long time and it was tinged gray from wear. And if they say it's cleaned daily, then touch up with fresh white paint to match the rest of they door and hide the gray wear that looks like dirt. Throughout the house mismatched lightbulbs are used, or burnt out, Christmas candle arrangement on the main dining room table could have been a lovely touch, but only a couple of the candle's worked (batteries dead). I had hoped my stay warranted a 5 star review property but sadly it fell far short of that.
