We spent the night in the Chena River Suite downstairs and had a lovely stay as expected. Charming, warm and very, very clean.Surprisingly, it had a full kitchen which would be a great plus for a longer stay and our bed was dreamily comfortable. The dainty chintz and lace decor rang back to long ago and it was easy to...

My wife and I stayed there 4 days in March. The location was great as it is close to downtown which allowed walking to restaurants. The breakfasts are good and served when you sit down (last call was 9:30 AM for us). The only downside was our room, the Chena River Suite, the description sounded good enough, but the room...

I can hardly add to the praise others have heaped upon this place. Comfortable, charming, close to downtown, and very good breakfasts. Free parking for the first three vehicles. If we ever go back to Fairbanks, we'll certainly try to reserve at the Alaska Heritage House again.

We were a group of four couples staying at the B&B. We arrived later in the evening, and Melanie was there to welcome us and get us checked in. The rooms were very comfortable and we used the common area a lot. Breakfasts were wonderful and on our last day, we had to leave for the airport by 4:30am. Melanie...

We booked 3 separate stays here in a short period of time to accommodate trips to the Arctic Circle and Denali. I told my husband I hoped we liked it since we were going to keep coming back. It turned out to be one of my favorite places I've ever stayed, so no regrets! It was so beautiful and the...

We love our trip to Fairbanks last year! Telsie and her staff took great care of us. The breakfast was amazing. She even accommodated my wife's dairy allergies and made food that she could eat. The room we stay in was amazing and the city of Fairbanks was a blast. We went in February and went skiing, dog sledding, visited...

Getting to Fairbanks @ 2am? No issue! Just enter the door code and you're in. Grumpy in the morning? No issue! They make delicious breakfast and are way too kind. It's hard to be in a bad mood. Definitely going back. And oh yeah, the prices are awesome.

The innkeepers do a great job and have a beautiful, comfortable home! Telsie served us the freshest, most delicious breakfast on Christmas morning- what a treat! Our room (Mary Lee Davis ) was spacious with a very comfortable bed. It has a great kitchen that would easily accommodate an extended visit. I will stay here every time I visit Fairbanks!

I really enjoyed this accommodation in the heart of Fairbanks. Staff bent over backwards to make sure that I had a comfortable stay, from organising a late evening check-in to preparing the most delicious and generous breakfasts around. There was a constant supply of snacks available and staff even baked one morning. The building itself is a museum piece and...

A friend and I traveled to Fairbanks to see the Northern Lights. Alaska Heritage House staff gave us a warm reception when we arrived after 1am and helped us settle in our room, We started each day home cooked breakfast of omelets, frittatas, fresh fruit, great coffee, a selection of teas, juice and jam served in the beautifully appointed dining...
