I wanted a place outside of Fairbanks so the light pollution would not impact on the Aurora viewing so the location was good as a start. Things then got so much better. The GPS was out a bit so finding it was a bit confusing but once we got there, everything was on the upside. We had the Spruce House... More

Had a fantastic week staying here in September. We had one of the suites in the main lodge and it was great. Very spacious, with fantastic views. Unfortunately the aurora didn't cooperate, but that's not the lodge's fault. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices, and the lodge was close enough to town that it was easy to go get... More

Stayed at the spruce house for 2 nights with my family to experience staying in a log cabin away from the city and to try our luck at chasing the aurora. Used the phone located in the main lodge to call Kory the proprietor for check in. Kory has shown great hospitality by introducing the place to us and patiently... More

Agree with all the other reviewers, and during our stay we have seen 3 different groups that had been here before, so the lodge's reputation really speaks for itself. We have a lodge room in the main building, and outside is a small rolling plain that is very open for aurora viewing. This allows us to stay warm inside the... More

We stayed two nights in the log house and one night in main lodge. The house has the best views on the property and was just perfect! The room in the main lodge was nice as well. The owners are welcoming and very helpful in planning your outings for the day. The breakfast was great. You would need to have... More

We really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful log cabins, secluded private grounds. Host is friendly and helped provide information on things to do in the area. Delicious hearty breakfast. Clean and new. Professional service, with well taken care of property. Will definitely stay there again.

We had 7 people in our group that stayed at the Lodge and the 'Spruce House' because we wanted to be close to a cousin that lived in Fairbanks. The lodge is so beautiful and so filled with vintage things that you are fascinated with something new every day. The breakfasts were wonderful and Kory Eberhardt was such a gracious... More

We were recommended this Lodge by the owner of another lodge and were we glad we did, what a wonderful place to Stay. A little bit out of Fairbanks and it takes a bit of finding, but was it worth the effort, oh yes. We were greeted by Kory the Owner and Dawson the dog, we were shown our room... More

I stayed in the 'spruce house' - a private, secluded lodge on the property. There were two queen beds and one twin. The lodge had a lovely living area, complete kitchen and nice bathroom. There is a surrounding deck offering gorgeous views. It was so quiet and peaceful - a wonderful getaway. The main lodge serves breakfast - many selections... More
