We spent two nights in Fairbanks at the Westmark Hotel. It is the starting point for land tours of the Princess Cruise Line. Fairbanks is a tiny, depressed-looking town, and this building was the tallest we could see in the area. The room and rest of the large facility were clean and the bed comfortable. A small, separate kitchenette with...

For local standards this is considered a somewhat upper scale hotel. This is a clean, comfortable, hotel with friendly staff. The lobby includes a beautiful sitting area and a souvenir store with a Starbucks that sets your expectations somewhat high. The rooms are your average cookie cutter, impersonal and somewhat on the small side, with your average paper-thin walls. We...

All staff were excellent: friendly and helpful, especially the tour desk. Room was marginally clean with someone else's toenail clipping on the bathroom floor. Water was slow to drain away from tub and sink. Walls had touch up paint clearly visible. But air conditioning worked well and blackout drapes enabled us to sleep despite the midnight sun. Beds were quite...

We were booked on a cruise-tour package, and were a little apprehensive from previous reviews. Our stay here was a wonderful experience! The staff were very helpful, and the room was the nicest place we've stayed in for a long time. The room temperature was always just right with no AC noises. Pillows and bed were clean, fluffy, and comfortable....

Very friendly staff. The new wing has decent and updated rooms. Good news they are remodeling the old side and that will be a big improvement. I like the bar/ restaurant it has a decent selection. Good morning breakfast. Right in the heart of Fairbanks with many local eateries within a few blocks.

Clean room and a comfortable iplace to stay. Was there for 9 nights. You can walk to a few other restaurants nearby, or eat at the hotel's joint inside, which has a very good, albeit expensive, menu. I would stay here again.

Hotel room was very nice. Hotel was fine too. Appreciated super clean room, but breakfast was basically oatmeal and bagel, if that's your thing. Overall, I slept well thanks to all the pillows and the comfortable room.

We stayed here as part of a landtour with Princess. The room was sufficient (nice bed, space ok), but was overall a bit tired. The aircon was quite old and noisy, but I guess it does get little use in Alaska. The restaurant was serving quite basic food and service was a bit slow. Prices overall slightly high, even for...

This hotel may be the best option, if you are staying in Downtown Fairbanks. It is comfortable, clean and central to the Downtown area. There are good transportation connections to the surrounding area and free parking. You do need to rent a car, or pay a cab from the Airport. Great oatmeal at the complementary breakfast buffet.

I was pleased with the overall experience. The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is a good value, but don't be expecting high-end amenities. The best part of the experience was the complimentary breakfast. For being a moderately rated hotel, the breakfast was surprisingly delicious. I would stay again.

Thank frankbera
