We stayed here in May of 2024. We really enjoyed our stay. We chose the hotel based on the location and the rooftop pool and deck and not the sustainability aspect. The hotel itself is very cool, modern decor etc. Small Gym was perfect for our needs and the Location in Brooklyn was excellent, we really enjoyed walking over the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan or talking the Ferry which is located just outside. The local area has lots of eateries and was perfect for a potter around if not heading into Manhattan. The front desk staff were excellent and super friendly too.
The negatives were few to be fair, the room was tiny, but this is common in NYC, again very cool though and view was awesome. Very very little storage space, we were in NYC for 5 days 4 nights and our room had probably half of one traditional wardrobe for storage so we were living out of our suitcases on the floor. The bathroom area is also very small, the water pressure was poor and the shower has wooden elements which obviously are now pretty water damaged.
The location and the rooftop are the selling points for me. The rooftop area is super, especially if the sun is playing ball. You can eat and/or drink up there and then there is a separate pool deck. The pool was again great, small niggles would be that again with NYC it can get busy, you are allocated a 2 hour window if I remember correctly but if its not busy I wouldn't pay any attention to that but there is a host keeping an eye on everything. You are also a bit of a second class citizen on the day of check in and check out, you are only allowed to use the pool deck if no currently registered guests need your spot, otherwise you will be bumped. Last negative was being scolded for trying to take a phot of my wife with my camera on the roof deck, I am the furthest thing from a professional but do have a mirrorless camera for family photos and home videos. I got a strict warning that no "professional" cameras are allowed. I found it strange, I am a tourist! but anyway I assume it is a NYC thing maybe to prevent YouTubers or bloggers, I don't know. You can do anything you like with your phone however which is something.
Would we go back, we enjoyed our stay but probably not. There are a lot of hotels in NYC to experience!

My family stayed at the Hotel Brooklyn Bridge the other night. We loved everything about the hotel, particularly the location, the views the vibe, our suite, the food, and best of all, the staff. Special shoutout to Seki, Ahmed, Mercedes and Maria who made us feel especially welcome. As a lifelong New Yorker, this special property and location will be one we look forward to coming back to visit again very soon. 5 stars all around!

The 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is an excellent choice for so many reasons. It checks all of the boxes. The Hotel is visually beautiful with views of the city that can't be beat. The staff is warm and engaging - greeting you with sincerity, making sure that when you step into the hotel you are welcome and well taken care of. The Osprey is spot on with a wonderful staff that remembers you from visit to visit and Chef is top notch in his offerings. The sincere caring for our planet and sustainability is pervasive throughout the hotel. The rooms are well appointed, with products that confirm their true belief in environmental responsibility. I believe that hard work and sincere caring for the guest should be rewarded. The 1 Hotel BB hits every button - well done 1BB friends!!

The most I’ve spent for the least amount of value. Small room, as in the bathroom is basically part of the room. The lighting is atrocious- couldn’t see well enough in the hall outside our door to know where to place the key. I tried to take an accurate picture of how dark- my camera treated it as if it were nighttime! Lighting in room is not intuitive, what happened to plain old light switches. No coffee in lobby at 6 am, coffeemaker in room literally made a thimbleful of coffee. The only redeeming qualities: the views are stunning, the location excellent and I guess it’s “vibey”?Staff was helpful and generally sweet but could not make up for lack of basic amenities (light, privacy in bathroom, coffee) this hotel provided.

My fiance surprised me with a birthday "staycation" at 1 hotel, I have been eyeing this hotel for a few years now and since flying is such a nightmare, he decided on this. I have to say, the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were hit and miss.. Let's start with the pool, which we made reservations for the two days we were there, the service was incredibly slow, it took a while for someone to come around and take our orders and at least 20-30 min to get two, basic drinks. On day two, there were a group of small kids who were consistently splashing us (and others in the pool) and were so loud it made it hard to enjoy the space. If I may make a suggestion, the pool should be adult only, especially since you get such a limited time there. The food options at the pool were a little off as well, I cannot imagine eating Sushi on a hot summer day outside with the sun beating on me. Perhaps try having fresh fruits and some lighter refreshing bites. Overall the food at this location was good, but very very overpriced and options were limited. The rooms were small, as expected, and the layout was a bit strange and ours was not very clean. It was very dusty, countertops had stains on them and the lighting was so dark. It took room service over 24 hours to pick up dishes from our room. We heard the elevator all night long as well as everything going on in the hallway. We did not get a very good nights rest, and on top of that the hotel charged us an extra $151 out of nowhere because we got a "higher floor".. we were on floor 8. This charge was not discussed with us prior and my fiance will be calling the hotel to seek a refund. The gym was FILTHY which I was very, very taken back by. The one and only elliptical they have had a used cup in it and sweat marks everywhere. There were no wipes to wipe down the equipment they appeared to be out. In a pandemic and with the hefty price tag that came along with our stay I would hope cleanliness would be their top priority, I opted for a jog outside instead, I was hesitant on touching anything else. It was $70 dollars a day to park our car, again a cost that was not discussed prior and just freely charged. The lobby was so beautiful. The rooftop area was not well kept. There were so many empty glasses left everywhere, the tables were not wiped down/sanitized when one person left and you could not get food on one side of the rooftop area. There was construction going on and it was so loud. We were lucky and we were able to grab a table on the other side. The views are probably the best part of this location, they are breath taking however the cost to stay here did not justify the accommodations. Since it was my birthday one of the bartenders was SO sweet and she gave me a drink on the house in Harriets indoor lounge. They did lose my reservations however I made a month ago, which was frustrating since I received two text messages confirming them. We had to wait a lot longer for our table. Nothing is perfect and I REALLY wanted to love this location and have a relaxing seamless birthday and make this a yearly tradition but sadly it was a miss for us!

Absolutely one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed at! Upon entering the lobby you feel almost transported and met with instant calm and relaxation. The greenery & plants everywhere, the lighting, the beautiful smell is such a pleasure & a really lovely welcoming experience. The front desk checked me in with big smiles on their faces & acknowledged that I was there to celebrate my birthday. After arriving to my beautiful clean and bright room I had a knock on my door and a special delivery of a birthday cake, champagne & greeting card. The expansive views, the dreamy shower and bath amenities were pure luxury. We had a quiet and peaceful sleep, you would never think you were in Brooklyn. I loved having the water dispenser INSIDE the room, such a nice touch. I did also get to visit the spa which was over the top!! Amazing massage service and they have a steam room which you can also visit without having booked a treatment (as long as you are a hotel guest) Thank you for a fab weekend! I cannot wait to be back!!!

Last minute Reservation for 4 after flight cancellation. Early checkin no problem on arrival. At the lobby, a pleasant Impression of calm in a fairly successful green environment. The staff is smiling. We already knew the neighborhood and the benefits of the place: proximity to the park and public playgrounds for our children, easy access to Manhattan by ferry, views of the Brooklynn bridge. The room is modern and beautiful, we can only regret that the toilet is separated from the rest only by a glass wall... On the 11th floor, it is shock. We may have already admired New York from all angles, but we are amazed by the 180-degree view. No children allowed after 6 p.m. at the pool, but it is in any case a corridor 1m deep and seats are expensive, as in the true sense the cocktails and sushi of the adjacent restaurant. Moment of float on the check out: 2 international calls appear on our Rating for $0.04 while I called the reception twice (?), a breakfast credit of $50 which is not clearly applied on our consumptions, a resort fee of $45 and a final rate of the night which in my opinion are not explicit enough at the Reservation, and above all, no manipulation of credit card, the total is automatically debited from the one that served as guarantee. Therefore, watch out for surprises.

I stayed here for 2 nights in a 1 King Bed (Dumbo) room in September 2024 as a solo female traveler.
Spectacular hotel, property, staff, location, and amenities. I was very pleased with my stay here.
Pros: - Incredibly warm and comfortable room with a great view (I got a smidge of the bridge) - Hotel and amenities are everything you'd expect from a luxury hotel - The pool is fantastic - Location is amazing. There's a entryway at the back of the hotel that exists directly onto the path that goes along the river and from there, it's a 1 minute walk to the pier/view of the bridge. - Love the filtered water tap in the room
Cons: - The car service isn't available on Mondays and Tuesdays, which were the days I was staying - The coffee and food at Neighbors Cafe is not good. $14 for an Americano and a stale Danish - The elevators struggled to identify the wood chips that act as room keys. They're also very, very small and light
All in all, minor quibbles. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it.

Our stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge was exceptional! This hotel offers one of the best views in New York City – waking up to the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge was breathtaking.
The dining options are fantastic, with both Harriet’s and The Osprey providing memorable meals. Even the coffee shop was a hit, making mornings that much better. The venues at night were fun and had a DJ playing bumping tunes.
The rooms were clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel’s signature scent was refreshing and memorable (IYKYK!). The staff went above and beyond, setting up a crib for our 5-month-old and making sure we felt at home with a little one in tow.
The location is ideal for a NYC weekend getaway – convenient to everything while providing a peaceful escape from the city’s bustle. It’s worth every penny for the experience, and we can’t wait to come back!

I fell in love with this hotel last year at this same time. On that visit I got to the hotel very late and I was given a room with a gorgeous view of the bridge. And the absolutely adorable girl working at the front desk showed my sister and I around the park and bridge at midnight! The lobby was gorgeous, the room was clean and quiet with a great view. I couldn’t wait to stay at here again. This time was a much different experience. This time I got to the hotel too early so they stored my luggage and told me they would put it in my room when the room was ready. About 3 minutes after I left the hotel in an uber I got a text saying my room was ready which was odd considering I was told it wouldn’t be ready for hours. I got back to the hotel late and my daughter who was recovering from an illness was with me. When we got to the room my luggage was not there as promised but that didn’t concern me. My daughter went straight to sleep and as I was waiting for my luggage and getting settled I noticed how dirty the room was…dust all around the bathroom mirrors and on all the metal that separates the bedroom from the bathroom. The plant had dead leaves and was also covered in dust. The sink had black mold on the whole side that drains, the refrigerator smelled horrible but what was most disturbing was the fake fingernail on the floor by the couch. I decided I would deal with it the next day because my daughter was sick and I was exhausted. We ended up leaving the hotel early the next morning for a dr appt. As requested by the hotel, contact them through the app if I needed anything which I did multiple times. When we returned to the hotel late after an exhausting day, the room had not been touched other than beds made and new towels. No cleaning, no replenished toiletries, still dusty and the fingernail still on the floor. Obviously no one pays attention to the app that they insist you to use. In addition to all of this, the room was very noisy, not from people but from what sounded like banging pipes and water dripping inside the walls all night long. Yes, I would have gone to the front desk and demanded to switch rooms immediately under any other situation. But, at what 5 star hotel that charges over $700 a night plus BS resort fees and a $250 deposit for each night, plus no free car service as promised at check in, would let this happen to begin with. When I did (not through the app) complain I was told that they were sorry that “my expectation were not met”. That takes a lot of nerve. As if my expectations of a having a clean and quiet room for nearly a $1000 a night were unrealistic. I’m not sure what has changed at this hotel within the past year but it is by far NOT a 5 star hotel. No one should have to fight and beg for a clean and quiet room at a hotel for this price. I’m not sure I’ve ever written a negative hotel review before. I usually like to give praise instead of complaining but I wish I would have read reviews before I decided to stay here this time.
