Be careful with this hotel. They are extremely dirty. There was a used syringe on my bed. I got injured and the hotel refuse to even report it. ANDRE the manager (be careful with him also, he is a liar) he kick us out after requesting our documentations (he even request my medical record, which it’s illegal) Andre Hammond, liar.
Where can I start... I was greeted immediately by almost everyone in the hotel. Check in with was fantastic and fast thanks to Dexter and Alex The room was clean and perfect size, and organized to a fault. You have room for everything and most rooms have enough room for 3 people. There is a basement with games and video. There is a backyard with seating for 50 comfortablely. Then.... You have the lobby. Gorgeous bar, classy bartender - Matthew has second to none focus on detail. Fantastic, frothy margaritas. This guy could work in a Waldorf Historia. Great prices for NY.. Beer and a shot 7 bucks. make sure to ask Matthew or Devora for a slow melting giant ice cube for your drink. A stage. Bench seating. And, yes. Fooze ball!!! Love this place! Can't wait to come back!!!…
I want to say the young lady that was more then helpful made us feel so welcome . When you have a girl like Miss Deja working for you you have a company that will succeed she will be successful in anything she does because she’s outstanding at customer service she’s outstanding with customer relations and she should be showing others how it’s done she made my trip to that hotel rememberable comfortable I felt like home I feel like I’ve been there 1 million times all I have to say is five stars for the hotel Anastasia and I will be returning and I will be telling others great job any boss will be lucky to have you on there team !!!
Greats staff and excellent customer service very clean rooms. We had a great time at the new Bar and Lounge @ RL the staff was great and evening events at the lounge were a-lot fun Friday and Saturday night.
Don’t get me wrong, the facilities are good and the staff friendly but someone, somewhere thought it would be a great idea to book a party in the bar which blasted really loud music until 2am on a Friday. I’m on a business trip and this is unacceptable for the money I’m expected to pay. We shall be asking for a refund and will never stay here again.
The hotel is very chill clean great front desk lady Daisha she was very generous from the time I walked in. Cozy area. Very warming music. It’s just a great are if you looking for a place to study and feel relax
I have enjoyed two recent trips to Brooklyn, thanks largely in part to my hotel stays during each visit. My first stay was at Hotel RL and my second was at Artel, which is owned by the same company. In both instances, I was happy to be served by a friendly and helpful staff. Not only were they able to offer advice and guidance throughout my stays, but they were quick to help me with my needs. These two spots will be atop my list for my next venture into Brooklyn.
I must say, this place did exceed my expectations. It is located in what most of us would call a "rough" neighborhood, directly next to an elevated train. Graffiti and trash are all around the area, a few homeless people here and there. My dad would have hated it but my kids and I all thought the area was classic New York and beautiful in its own way. The hotel itself is a total oasis in this urban jungle. The staff is young (I didn't see anyone over 30) and obviously from the area. They definitely made me feel like they could handle any crazy stuff that might happen so we felt safe. Super clean hotel with friendly staff and 3-4 nice common areas. My only complaint is the "Free Parking" thing, which is the main reason we chose this hotel over others. I have stayed in another Brooklyn hotel in the past that had its own parking garage underneath, so that's what we were expecting when we pulled up in our rental car. We called and said, "Where's the entrance to the parking?" and they were like, "Oh, just park anywhere on the street or behind the hotel" (which is also a public street). Huh? So "free parking" means, if you can find a spot in a bustling metropolis known to be a parking nightmare, it's "free." The first night, we had to park quite a ways away and walk through what at least seems to be a semi-dangerous area. It required expert parking skills (if you can't parallel park with 1 ft on each end, forgetaboutit). So, these are things to keep in mind. The clientelle seemed to be mostly "millenials" and, of course, most people don't try to navigate their NYC trip with a rental car, so this is probably a non-issue for most people.…
Atasha was our greeter and she was so friendly. Best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Bless her soul. Room was clean, service was amazing, bartender was very educated, and accommodating.will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you for your hospitality
This hotel and location are excellent, very friendly staff and great backyard !!!!! Would absolutely recommend. There’s a good pizza place across the street and free clothes also from 2-7 I have booked this hotel for many friends
