Lovely spacious room in a delightful hotel…. Until nightfall on the weekend. We stayed in a ground floor loft suite, which was fine until we returned for dinner to be met with constant thumping music which can be heard through noise cancelling headphones. It’s still going at 11 pm and the splitting headache cannot balance out the earlier charm we felt. A hotel’s first task is to provide a restful nights sleep to the guests- fail at this, and the rest is moot. The weak shower pressure and mediocre toiletries as well as the distance from any subway would be other negatives. If you’re a late night partier who Ubers everywhere this may be the place for you!

Absolutely loved my stay at The Box Hotel in Brooklyn! The rooms are super stylish, featuring an industrial chic vibe with fantastic views of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything needed. While there isn't a rooftop bar, the hotel's location is perfect for exploring NYC, close to excellent dining and shopping. I highly recommend The Box Hotel for anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Brooklyn!

Amazing, spacious hotel with loads of character in a very convenient and exciting location (close to cool eateries, well connected via subway, hip neighbourhood). We arrived earlier than expected and managed to secure early check in thanks to Kristina. Service was very friendly and effective. We will be back!!

Very nice hotel in Brooklyn. Went with my wife and children (age 14&11). Stayed 3 nights in Manhattan, then chose this hotel in Brooklyn for more space and different location. Friendly and helpful staff. We had one of the biggest rooms on the 3rd floor which was great and roomy and reasonably priced. Well situated for travel into Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens. I would recommend this hotel, especially for any families

The hotel is well located, clean and the rooms are spacious. Metro is about 10 mins walking. Manhattan and main attractions are 2 metro stations far. Front desk agents were super kind, specially Angelina, who always was pending giving us the best of herself and attending all our requirements kindly and smiling. I highly recommend the place if you want to be far away the noisy that NYC can be.

We are returning guests of The Box House Hotel and we always have a great experience. We stay here every time we come to NYC. The rooms are clean. It is a convenient location to get to the 7 train that can take you into Manhattan. Angelina at the front desk was able to get us a later checkout and was very helpful. All the staff are very helpful.

I was there for a corporate party on the rooftop. I attended as a vendor. The place was boutique styled hotel. It was very homely. The place was very clean and smelled good. The hospitality was above and beyond. As I was unloading the evening manager, Angelina, helped me to gather my equipment. She even helped to bring them out place them in my vehicle. She made sure that I was well taken care of. There was another person at the front desk with her that even offered me water since I looked like I was exhausted carrying the equipment. I will look into staying next time instead of attending as a vendor. This place was awesome. Thank you for your help again!

Big problem I had was a $75 + tax "early check-in fee," which came out to more than $80 total. The room was ready, so it's incredibly cynical to charge a fee like this. Haven't seen that at other places, and there's really no reason besides taking advantage of people who have already booked and arrived. Rooms themselves were nice enough with vintage furnishings - everything seemed well-maintained. The location is good to walk over the bridge to Long Island City, or to walk down Manhattan Ave to the train. The neighborhood in general is pretty quiet for how dense it is, which is nice.
