My family and I spent a week at the Moxy Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Very good hotel. Nice and clean. The hotel has a very good bar (Bedford bar) that serves food and drinks all day. During our stay we were served by a friendly staff that were very helpful and supporting. I will especially highlight Laurel and Miguel. Thank you for making our stay in New York a good experience. I would definately choose Moxy should I visit New York again.

I recommend this hotel for a family. We were in need of a crib and refrigerator and the staff was prompt in supplying those for us. The room was very comfortable and convenient to everything we wanted to do

Be prepared to learn what it takes to reduce the size of a hotel room below what you thought was possible: no bureau, no closet, no desk. Clothes storage consists mainly of 12 stubs on the wall, plus an 8" cubby with three hooks. One floor-level drawer was available under one bed, barely accessible without kneeling. The only other storage was a floor-level cubby hole under the other bed, accessible only on hands and knees. Beds were nice. Shower was fine. Restaurant (dinner only) was quite good. Breakfast is at the bar, with lounge-style and bar-stool seating only and minimal food choices.

Modernly furnished hotel with nice bright rooms and good lighting. Perfectly clean and tidy in all spaces. Pleasant lobby and associated high-class restaurant. The surroundings may seem a bit worn but Williamsburg has a warm heart and is on the rise. On the day of the return trip, we were helped to store our bags at Moxy Times Square and thus saved two hours of travel time. Instead, we enjoyed beautiful Central Park until the flight taxi picked us up. Thanks Specially to Dashaun who fixed this for us!

From start to finish, Moxy Williamsburg treated us like family! Stephanie, Miguel, Victor, and the overnight team were all smiles! The hotel was clean, warm, and inviting. Loved the hook up and they loved my dogs too!! Hands down best!!!!!

The worst possible place to stay in Brooklyn. Where to even begin. I was eaten alive by bugs in my room. I woke up with HUGE welts all over my body. I went down and told the front desk. They did not more my room or take any action. When i checked in with them later that day upon returning, they said they cleaned the room. I subsequently woke up with new bites each day and alerted the front desk. They wouldn't move my room or fix the issue. The staff is awful. Rude, inconsiderate, unhelpful. At check-in, I had the pleasure of listening to the front desk manager talking to another hotel staff about a sexual conquest in detail. I honestly couldn't believe what i was hearing. Later that evening, we had come back from an event and sat down in the lobby to quickly hammer through a speech before retiring to our rooms. The front desk staff told us we weren't allowed to sit in the lobby or the restaurant as it was being cleaned. We explained we just needed a few min to work together before going to bed. However, they rudely told us we could not and we had to go despite there being multiple empty places to stay and no cleaning crew in site. We wound up standing in the corner holding our laptops as we worked. In the 25 min it took us to finish our work, we never saw a cleaning person. We were forced to stand in a corner for no reason while the front desk staff joked around and played games at the desk loudly. The rooms themselves leave a lot to be desired. The small rooms are beyond small with a poor layout. Barely room for a bed. Sink in the room. Bad layout and design. If you have to book a group booking, run and hide. Honestly can't imagine a worse experience. Did it twice and Amy who runs the group bookings couldn't be bothered. It's a full time job to try to track her down. She doesn't have a line or staff. Call the front desk, they transfer you to the restaurant. Call again, they transfer you to her cell which is full. It's a joke. The only way I got her to respond was to CC the manager. We had so many issues with this hotel it's hard to share them all. The rooms are small. The staff is awful. Now for the positives, which don't make up for the negatives. The food is great. The bar is fun. The roof has an amazing view. I brought the hotel manager and general manager into the conversation as soon as it became too much to handle. Miguel the hotel manager started off really helpful. Said all the right things. Gave me his cell phone. Made an accommodation for us to work from at night so we didn't run into the lobby issue again. However, quickly became unhelpful when the issues started to pile. Mike Hoover, the general manager, despite being on every email, never once responded to a call or email. Pretty much the level of service i would expect from the leader of this crew. We put through formal complaints with Marriott as well as the private group that owns the property. This is a new Marriott space and absolutely doesn't meet expectations. We also reported the property to NY health and safety. If you want to party on the roof and have somewhere to crash after. This is your spot. As long as you want to drink yourself into unconsciousness and need to stumble home. Any other use-case, i would rather sleep on the street.…

I'm a frequent Williamsburg visitor, and this is all considered the best hotel experience I've had in the area. Even if it could look like a "party hotel" (which I'm scared of), it was very quiet and conveniently located in the middle of the nabe. The rooms are small, but extremely comfortable. Superb bed, very nice bathroom, and a stunning view over the bridge if you chose the "city view" option. Less expensive than other overrated locations here. The staff was helpful beyond expectations, Dashaun in particular brilliantly resolved an issue I had at the moment of my arrival, ad all was perfect here. Highly recommended.

The staff was extremely pleasant and attended to all our needs. The rooms are modern, sleek and extremely cozy. Not to mention the location of the hotel is ideal to all amenities. We had a personal issue during our trip and the staff was overwhelmingly accommodating until our issue was resolved. I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying in New York!
