Another incredible stay at this wonderful gem! My significant other and I have been coming to DeKoven Suites for 10 years and he and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! Coming to DeKoven Suites is truly "coming home": Susan and Chalo provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere and share their graciousness, hospitality and knowledge of New York with all who enter...

Our family of 4 and my parents stayed here for two days while attending a wedding. My family had the basement suite while my parents had one of the upstairs rooms. A different couple had the last upstairs room. The basement suite was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The laundry is in the bathroom. My two teens each had their...

We'd previously stayed at this property back in 2008/2009 and had such a good experience this was our first thought when we returned to NYC. This time we had the upstairs master bedroom which was en suite and had it's own fridge. All in all excellent for our needs. The family who live here are really friendly and nothing is...

Had to make a last-minute reservation, but Susan was incredibly accommodating and helpful. She made our family -- particularly our toddler -- feel especially at home. The pack-and-play bed she set up for him was more comfortable than the child's own crib! The space was spotless, roomy and incredibly comfortable. And breakfast the next morning was a delicious mix of...

2. Review, i could not see my first attempt on Tripadivisor We are a couple (56 and 59 years old ) from Germany. This was the first time that we wanted to do Bed & Breakfast abroad. Even the e-mail contact with Susan was very friendly and took us our excitement. Thanks to the good description, we received a few...

My husband and I stayed for three nights in the downstairs suite at DeKoven Suites while in Brooklyn for a family get together. (My sister had one of the upstairs bedrooms, and my brother and his family were staying in the B & B next door.) The hosts, Susan and Chalo, were friendly and helpful, although we saw them only...

Susan&% Chalo were great, a home away from home, friendly, helpful & welcoming. The room was large, comfortable and having the bathroom in a separate adjacent room is great . Commuting to Manhattan is easy ,and by the way, if you start to tour Brooklyn you won't arrive to Manhattan (MUST tour Williamsburg). The best pizza in NY & possibly...

As a family ,before leaving to the US for a fortnight stay we wanted a place from which Manhattan could be at hand, where the train was at a short distance walk, and we found it, and many more..; Warm welcome, cosy atmosphere. Nothing compares to dekoven Court, it will soon be our fifth stay. Just the best place to...

My husband and I stayed at Dekoven Suites for 4 days/3 nights this October 30 to November 2. We stayed in the Master bedroom with en suite bathroom and we will attest to previous reviews about the bed in this room. It is very, very comfortable. You will definitely get a great night's sleep in this bed. The room itself...

The place is charming and well outfitted. If you're looking to get into Manhattan, it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway and when you're on the train you get a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The hosts are very nice and can give you a lot of information about getting around and what to see.
