We only spent 2 nights here but wish we could've stayed longer. Its definitely not your typical inn/lodge, its more like a B & B. Very charming and clean and we had the most wonderful and comfortable bed in the Spirit Bear Deluxe room. Even though it was prime time for visiting Glacier Park (middle of August), we hardly saw...

We stayed here not knowing what to expect- so we set our expectations very low. We were presently surprised to find this inn both charming and hospitable. Small enough that you feel like you are in a friends house but not so small that you feel like you are in their private space. The common areas are lovely and comfortable...

The place was beautiful, the location was perfect. My room was gorgeous, everything I needed was there (including bear spray) but there was one downside that was very difficult to overlook at $230 a night and that was the faint, but present smell of dog urine in my room. It was less noticeable when I put the air on and...

We are so very sorry for your experience. Our dogs are not allowed in the lodge however, guests are known to "sneak" them into their rooms. However this happened, you should never had to experience that. I have had the area rug immediately removed and am replacing it. Please contact me so that I can refund a portion of your...

My husband and I spent 6 nights in the Mini Grand room. The room was very spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfy as well. The location is convenient just about 10 to 15 minutes form the west entrance to Glacier National Park. We liked that the continental breakfast was ready very early because we headed to the...

We were really looking forward to arriving at the Inn after a long trip from Calgary and across Glacier Park. The Great Bear Inn did not disappoint upon arrival. Although a bit off the beaten path, the Inn is very lovely and Danny welcomed us. We had a Grand Room downstairs which was very peasant and comfortable...with a great view...

Please accept my sincere apology for the miscommunication with the staff. You and every guest are entitled to check out at 12:00 noon. That extra hour seems to give our guests a bit more time to relax prior to departing. I am so very sorry that was said to you. Hope your back is better! I have the same problem....

We stayed in deluxe room the first night because our 2 queen bed room was double booked so we got a free upgrade the first night. The room was gorgeous and spacious with everything you could possibly need. The second night we stayed in the smaller room and it was beautiful as well with a great big shower. After that...

You need a good GPS or local help to locate but finding the Inn was definitely worth the effort. The Inn is beautiful, Immaculately maintained, peaceful (save for the occasional nightly train movements), and very comfortable. Danny was very helpful with a long note posted to the door for our late arrival. Breakfast was plentiful with loads of fresh strawberries...

To set proper expectation, this is not a bed and breakfast and doesn't pretend to be. The location is a little remote so you will want to bring food along with you. A free continental breakfast is included but very limited and unattended. There is a lot of attention to detail throughout the place and after looking around at the...

Thank you for your review. I regret you felt that the Continental Breakfast was not attended as I have gone to great lengths to staff for morning, noon and into the late night. Thank you for your compliments on our facility. We chose to build it a mile off the main highway so that our guests will be more secluded....

We just got back from 4 nights at the Great Bear Inn. We loved every minute of it! Danny and Senna were very accommodating, we were booked in two different rooms and they cleaned the next room early so we were able to move our bags into the new room before we left for the day.! Rooms were very comfortable...

Thank you so very much for your kind review of our Inn. We have worked very hard to fine tune every possible scenario..... I am learning in my old age how impossible that is, but keep trying..... Susan

My husband and I chose this inn for our honeymoon, and we have no regrets! It is a short drive to the park yet privately tucked away from busy roads. We loved staying in the suite as it had a gas fireplace, patio, and soft bed that was wonderful. The view from our room provided lovely views of the mountains....
