We had the pleasure of staying at the Harbor Inn for two nights, and wished it could have been so much longer. We had the King Harborview Suite, which is actually a fully furnished and stocked one bedroom apartment. We had three children with us, and this room fit all of our needs. The couch converts to a queen size...

Older motel but right across the street from the lake. We had a sitting area out front and we could enjoy all the views. Very clean and management very friendly. Would stay there again. No restaurant but within walking distance to several places to eat.

We were looking for a place to stay for our family trip to Grand Marais and we found this gem. Jeremy; The Hotelier was pleasant and helpful. Located in the center of town; you're surrounded by the best of Grand Marais. We were excited to book next years trip based on this visit. Harbor Inn offers a variety of rooms...

Walking into room 14 was quite an experience. Way overpriced to begin with, (Over $150), I could not believe the water stains on the carpet, broken and cracked covers over the heat vents, and outlets that do not work. Plenty of rust to go around, The tiny bathroom was filthy. All of this and no air conditioning. For all the...

We couldn't stay at the motel as it was booked but the restaurant was FANTASTIC. We enjoyed the chicken pot pie and a lovely salad with home made dressing. The wine list was adequate and the knowledgeable staff helped me to make a good wine choice. We did end the meal with their very fabulous pie. Lots of choices served...

I'm pretty amazed by how bad this hotel was, and I stay at Motel 6 fairly often so wasn't expecting the Hilton. The bathroom was so dirty that I could write in the grime on the heater. The window in the room could not be closed from inside the room, as the crank was not attached. There was an odd...

Basic, clean accommodation. There was no lake view, breakfast, air conditioning, lift, or hairdryer included in the rate of $162.40 per night, including taxes. Breakfast was available to purchase at half price, from the attached diner. Friendly staff. Over priced for what you get.

We stayed at this great Inn and cant wait for another visit. Easy check in. Wonderful staff. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Surprisingly quiet considering the downtown location. The cafe is wonderful. Great pies too! We'll be back!

We have been fortunate over the years to be able to do a lot of traveling. Having said that I feel that we are qualified to rate this hotel as one of the worst places we have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The door was almost impossible to open, the room had an overpowering odor, the bathroom was...
