We (myself, my partner and my 82 year old mother) spent 3 nights at this camp. We were met at Meru airstrip by Daniel our guide during the stay and taken on a lovely game drive to the camp. The camp was lovely, with six or so incredibly luxurious cabins/tents each v private next to the river and shaded by...

Rhino Riiver Camp is fantastic, expensive but as another reviewer has written 'worth every penny'. I cannot add to the rave revues others have given it. However I would like to point out that it is not easy to find. Although we had directions from the main Meru gate, once into the Rhino reserve doubts set in. Surely it cannot...

Just returned from a 3-night stay and found the whole experience amazing. We were greeted warmly at the airport and the staff at the lodge offered a welcome drink and cool towel. After a short briefing we were showed to our rooms; a family set-up of two cabins adjoined by a wooden deck overlooking the small river below! The room...

The Rhino River Camp is located right next to the Meru National Park Rhino Sanctuary just outside the Park. To access it you need to drive through the park and sanctuary first. The location of the camp could not be better and more attractive: right next to a river in a lush and green jungle type forest. Very special location...

Relaxing and beautiful setup along the tiny river. Staff is kind and the food is perfect (Italian Manager makes sure). Only few tents available, which makes this place ideal to rest and wonder around the Meru National Park.

This is the best camp or vacation site I ever visited and the Experience is amazing. You actually take a game drive before reaching the hotel, the Camp is clean and hospitality over the roof. Roberto and Susan made 7star treatment look like nothing. We even had a borne fire till midnight. The rooms, the food and the staff were...

Beautiful lodge setting of tented rooms suspended above a small river. Saw rhino in the sanctuary, elephants, giraffe, zebra, leopard and many more. The lion was elusive this time. Ernest and Daniel were knowledgeable guides and made the trip for our kids and some first time safari-goers. A special place I would highly recommend. Carlo was a great host and...

The staff makes everything to ensure you enjoy your stay to the fullest. Italian cuisine brings a nice change, the food is excellent whether served in the bush or at the camp. Guide (Daniel)is professional and able to recognize not only the animals, but also the flora and fauna. On top of all he is very patient with the tourists'...

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the service we received while here. The facilities were well maintained and clean. The only dirty areas were the roofs and the pool which had some obvious forest debris. We were offered to have the pool cleaned which we declined since it wasn't that dirty and we were only sitting on the...

My siblings and I went in February to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was the best decision ever!! The whole team was so friendly, the meals were amazing and it was a really relaxing weekend. The owner, Maurizio was very friendly and would come and seat with us and tell us about the different animals around and his experience from...
