While visiting this beautiful, luxurious "camp" in the bush. I experienced several walking safaris , a visit to a school they are supporting, a great staff and a very caring manager and assistant manager, and Salum a very special guide who was both passionate and informative.

Highlight of our trip. Best camp we stayed at. Rooms were spacious and luxurious. Staff was attentive and always ready to help. The Masai village and school visits made for special memories for our daughters... particularly playing soccer with the Masai. Could watch the warthogs play from the pool. The Masai morning run was a particular hit for our middle...

This was the first of 4 lodges we stayed at in Tanzania. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is definitely a 5-star lodge and we would stay here again. The rooms were nicely appointed and had excellent views. We would sit on our porch and watch the animals meander by. We took advantage of a walking...

Chem Chem is a tented cabin camp set in the middle of a private, 50,000 acre reserve, The resort was built by a Swiss investment banker and her partner as part of her choice for a post financial world career. Physically, Chem Chem is one of the most beautiful camps we have ever stayed at. ("Camp" is really a misnomer...

Loved it! The room was all you could ever ask for or even dream about. Plenty-o game roaming right outside the zippered sheer flaps. Funny that you must fasten the three clips for the flaps on a carabiner as the local baboons are (harmless and) quite clever. The dining areas are lovely. Mgnt made sure that we always ate at...

We ended a nearly two week safari with 2 nights at Chem Chem and we couldn't have been happier. The accommodations are exceeded only by the caring, talented and extremely capable staff. To call them "tents" may be stretching the definition. Yes, they have canvas roofs and zippers to enter and exit. That's pretty much where it ends. Stone walls...
