Alice, the owner and hostess of this beautiful homestay, is so warm, welcoming, funny & smart. Absolutely one of our favourite people we met on our trip to India. She's everything a host should be: present and so helpful but also providing space. Her house is our favourite place we stayed in Kerala; the room was huge and airy with...

We found ourselves needing last minute accommodation and turned up at 9pm on Christmas day... Alice is a charming lady with a magnificent and very well kept house in a great location. She made us feel completely at home and helped us out with our further travel plans, as well as with our day trip into the backwaters. Alice's house...

We stayed for 3 nights in a very nice, clean and big room. Originally the room was more expensive than we thought but due to our low budget we got a discount. very friendly! The breakfast was very nice and the room had everything we needed. The hostess was funny and gave us a lot of information. We enjoyed talking...

I stayed at this beautiful and comfortable home stay for just one night before heading off on a backwaters house boat. The lady that runs it, Alice is the most charming, kind and hospitable host you will have the pleasure of meeting. The house is an old colonial bungalow that makes you feel like you have been transported to a...

Alice is a "small" woman with a huge personality. It's a person you just want to be around. She's witty, intelligent, friendly, warm. And the house itself and rooms are perfect. Clean, spacious, with teak and rosewood furniture, teak doors and windowshutters. The breakfast was very tasty, with homemade preserves and fried bananas. Its was hard to leave.

I went to Alice for a lesson in Kerala cooking. Alice is an Indian lady who speaks perfect English. I enjoyed my lesson so much and then my husband and I ate the food - 3 fish dishes, 2 vegetable dishes, curd, popadams, bananas and chocolate. For the equivalent of £15. Alice is lovely, we laughed throughout. I've even emailed...

Alice Thomas, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. The house has big bedrooms, and the breakfast is delicious. We had a great night's sleep in very comfortable beds. We paid around 1000rps for double room + breakfast. Its a short walk to the beach. Alice can arrange taxis, backwater trips, etc. and has recommendations for local restaurants. My only...

It's a beautiful old house, with spacious rooms located between the beach and the town centre. Alice is lovely, helpful and great fun, she was happy to stay and chat with us. The house is located between the beach and the town, walking distance or a short auto ride from each. Only downside is the mosquitos- they are everywhere in...

We called the lovely host at 9pm asking for a room. We got lucky and at 11pm we finally got there. She waited for us and our room was nicely prepared even at that time. We had a spacious room with common bathroom, which is also spacious, just like everything in the house. She has a great breakfast/dining table with...
