Originally we were going to stay in one of Sagars bamboo huts, but on arrival he suggested we might like his new property at the end of the street, and he took us there, and it was lovely , view of the beach and where the back waters join, we had the deluxe room at the front which included breakfast....

Very welcoming and super chilled out. Sagar, the guy who runs the place is very helpful and he's a nice guy. Set up the backwater tour perfectly for us and a tuk-tuk to the train station at 5:30 in the morning with no issues. Highly recommend staying here, the rooms are good, nothing special but still comfortable with fans!

Sagar is a great host and this is a great place to stay. There is not much to do in the immediate area, but there is a nice restaurant immediately across the street. Sagar can help organize some fun backwater tours and transportation. Rooms were simple and clean- a great value. Even though I booked in advance there was no...

I spent 3 nights here in 2 separate occasions and really enjoyed my time here. Saga, your host is a very helpful young man and his mother and father are in hand to help with anything you might need. The atmosphere is relaxed and the small garden inviting. The beach is a 30sec walk away and a modern cafe next...

We enjoyed our stay at Funky Art Beach House. The owner was very helpful and friendly and the mojitos were excellent. Another highlight was the lovely meal cooked by his mum. A great place to meet people, with lots of comfortable outside space in which to relax. He would benefit from providing filtered water for guests. Also, if you can...

It was very new, we had a private garden , dinner was prepared by his mother, excellent home style...

Funky Art House is a great little place to stay. It's by the beach and Saga (sorry if this is mispelt) the manager is just so helpful. We had dinner cooked by his mum in his new place also by the beach which was simple but delicious and very convivial with other guests. We also took advantage of the canoe...

(We stayed at the owners new place) Good value for money! Very nice homestay with good cooking, great family with personal service. Thanks to Sagar and his family! We would love to return to this place! A little bit "off location" BUT great, calm and silent. Nice beach just outside the house.

I was here a week ago, together with my husband and stayed here for 5 nights in one of the two romantic bamboo houses. The service from Sagaa and Tom were great!!!
