Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
A very old property that seems to have little maintenance. We stayed for a night in suite room( 209, 2nd floor). When we checked in, both the ACs( hall and bedroom) were not cooling well. After frequent interventions, some type of cooling set-in. The suite room had a lot of unwanted guests: the mosquitos. Repellants were put to use. The bathroom and toilet, two in number, were strangely designed and located. Literally, no toiletries. A mini fridge available with nothing in it. The lift is small, jaded and old--fashioned. Had to struggle to use it. No gym or pool.
The hotel, of course, has its bright spots. It has a vast parking area and a nice restaurant. The bed was large and superb. Fitted 2A and 1C well. Room fixtures and furnitures were perfect. Plenty of cutlery and crockery items in the room. Breakfast, that was served in room, was very delicious (upma, puri, idli, bread). Then there were the polite and efficient staff who looked ready to help but clueless. Hotel is centrally located with many restaurants and bars nearby.
But Lonavala has far better hotels than this, so not sure whether we would return to this one.

This is one of the best hotel in Lonavala. Located just a few minutes away from the train station and bus stand, this is also easily accessible. You can find general store, pharmacy, bakery, chicki shops and more in the nearby area.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and always serve with a smile. Their rooms are spacious (might depend on which room you're booking), well lit and clean.
The restaurant area serves Gujarati thali, and this is one of the best if you're a vegetarian. Other items like tea, coffee, sandwich, etc can also be ordered directly from the room. So overall, the food was very good.
The hotel was going through some maintenance but didn't caused any inconvenience to me. Special mention for Shweta mam for being so helpful throughout our stay.
I'd definitely (and highly) recommend this hotel if you're thinking to stay in Lonavala.

this hotel is best for gujarati people. as we want good food nothing else. staff very co-operative room size is small bath accessory are broken over all good location and food is good so i give 4 out of 5

The villa itself us good, but the service was very bad. Room service and house keeping were terrible. In one room the AC leaked every time we switched it on. In one room the fan was not working. Bathrooms were not cleaned. Room service was very slow and food was always served late. Overall, disappointed with the stay.

Recently I visited Lonawala with my family. It was truly a memorable trip for many reasons, one of them is one of the best hotels in Lonawala where we stayed. Our stay in Hotel Chandralok was very much enjoyable and delightful. Easy location, just opposite the bus stand, this hotel is well maintained and very good, especially for couples and families even. Quality service, prompt service is really praiseworthy. The manager and front desk staff is extremely helpful, very polite. Staff was very much helpful and amazing. Rooms are beautifully clean, comfortable with nice decor. Washrooms were very clean. Wifi service provided was very helpful. Tasty, plentiful breakfast with a variety of foodstuffs is very good. Great ambience in the hotel dining room. Proper hygiene was maintained. The lobby is spacious with luxurious sofasets, the corridor nearby has carrom board and table tennis, beautiful antique furniture there, is the best for a photo session. I will strongly recommend this hotel for all the tourists visiting Lonawala. The best stay ever!

Excellent property. We were group of 15 people. Very good service by hotel. The location of the hotel was very proper as everything for sightseeing was near by. Food was excellent qualitg as they maintained hygiene also

AC just not working in the room, despite complaint no action taken. Watery milk served with cornflakes. Food quality far below normal. No stirrer given with tea pouches. No clearance taken post meal. GM or not a single manager available for complaint resolution even on phone. Even Mosquito coil not provided even after demanding. They charged 2200 without Bill payable in cash whereas Goibibo sells same property for 2210 including Tax (Base Price 1764). It means they collect the tax in cash but don't pay to the Govt.

One Good option in Lonavala! "Be it business or leisure or family gathering, this is the best option for a comfortable stay in Lonavala! Very polite staff. Special Gujarati Thali excellent food options with mouth watering local delicacies as well as standard recipes that satisfy your heart! It was great to notice the efficiency Of the Owner. who stays there in the hotel and takes special care of everything. with which the hotel is being operated in spite of very good and efficient staff staff in current scenario!"

Went there for gujrati thali 😮💨 priced @ 625 pp , very disappointing . They served aloo sabzi which was so bad , aam rass which they said was alphonso..i wondered how alphonse in august but they were very confident..when i had it , was papaya pulp not any mango for sure .
There are better gujrati thali options in lonavla , i would definelty not recommend..don t burn a hole in your pocket .

I went to Hotel Chandralok for lunch. Their thali is awesome! It was very tasty. One of the few restaurants that serve unlimited sweet along with the thali. When I went the cost was Rs 400 per thali. The service is also quick and cool. Located within walking distance of the ST Bus Stop. Must-visit if you are in Lonavala.

Not sure as we didn’t stay here just had lunch however I don’t think it should b a problem as Iam a frequent traveler and no hotel has asked me for a marriage certificate just carry your Aadhar cards
There are more places to choose from in the Lonavala area.
