Visited with family. Positives: 1) Check inn was fast.No need to wait. 2) Location right in the main city.Lot of options to roam around n try food . 3) Quite decent rooms and clean too. 4) Housekeeping service fairly good.Need fairly taken care of. 5) Breakfast spread was good,especially on Sunday.Taste was also good. 6) They arranged complimentary Magic show, DJ nite and live Barbecue for room guest on Saturday night. 7) Child play area was also good..Small but maintained well. 8) Booking thru their own website you get complimentary one Lunch or dinner, but do inform in advance when you will take it. 9) Property is also maintained well. Negatives: 1) Pool needs to be maintained well and it is right in the middle. 2) Reception staff needs to be more welcoming. 3) Need to have exhaust a fan in washroom. 4) Activity room also needs a uplift.Batminton rackets were not available. Overall a good stay my 10 year old daughter enjoyed the stay.

We never thought that finding and booking a resort will be so difficult even during COVID-19 times. But luckily, we managed to find AVION resort in Lonavala. We made the booking directly with the resort and checkin process was super smooth. We had booked 4 rooms for 8 peeps for 2 nights.
Pros:
1. Resort has this rustic charm with rooms super clean and massive. Every room has a double bed and a single bed. 2. The resort staff is friendly and very helpful. 3. Hi-tea on both days had complimentary food items such as pav bhaji and chat counters. 4. Resort location is right in the middle of Lonavala city. 5. Dinner and lunch food for room service is super delicious and cost friendly. We all loved it so much that we didn’t take a chance to risk eating out anywhere else. Breakfast is good too with live counters for omelette. 6. They have well maintained kids play area. They also had magic show for kids on Saturday evening. 7. Ample of parking space for cars.
Cons:
1. There is frequent electricity fluctuation issues. Even though we didn’t have to stay without electricity for more than one minute but the switch between generator and main power was irritating after a point. 2. Pool, fish pond and aquarium needs cleaning.
Overall, we would love to go back to Avion for a weekend stay as it was a refreshing experience especially after 1.5years of home stay due to lockdown. Thank you Avion for making our stay memorable!!

One of the finest resort in Lonavala which is in the midst of the city market.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had a deluxe room for 3 of us which is sufficient for a family, Room was very modern with all amenities. My one complaint would be that the WIFI, than most other hotels i have stayed in, but this could have been due to the rainy season.
Hotel premises are very nice and clean.
The restaurant down by the pool which specialises in food was good. Good quality food and good staff/waiters. breakfast could be improved, specially increasing varieties.
Priyanka the receptionist with whom we co-ordinated for our entire trip did a great job by assuring a good room and sending actual resort pictures before coming which gave us the confidence to reach here.
Overall a very nice resort, and from this experience will consider any trip to Lonavala again with my family and friends. Great stay and enjoyed each moment.

It's located in the main city centre right besides highway. The rates were very reasonable compared to other resorts. I paid only 7500rs for 2 nights for 3 people(myself, wife & 4 yrs old son). The resort was very clean, rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Play area for kids is very helpful. Dj was arranged for both nights, along with complimentary evening snacks on first day and complimentary kebabs on 2nd day. Food too was very good and reasonably priced. Being in the city, you have choice of many restaurants for food and need not depend on the resort. Overall i am very much satisfied and would recommend others to try it out.

The best place for enjoyment , relaxing, climate, place everything is superb . Food quality is the best, staff is very kind and polite and very helping nature. Rooms are very neat clean and very spacious for 2 +1. Resort is vey clean spacious maintain and if you have any issue then immediately the staff is ready for help. The location of the resort is very nice because all points if you plan to explore is very nearby around two or 3 km max to max. The swimming pool is also very nice clean water and continuously they are cleaning the pool. The reception counter all this people it’s ready to help and open 24 x 7 this is of very very important. Suddenly they gave us their complimentary the high tea and snacks it was delicious and food quality is very good.

This property is not only situated centrally, but has a chic vintage ambiance and cute swimming pool, beautiful playgarden for kids and a small artificial pond with some aquatic fauna. My kids were so happy. The room was big and clean with very clean bathroom that had modern fixtures and fittings by simpolo and Jaguar if you care! Breakfast spread was equally impressive and north style poori-bhaji after years was truly a bliss. Just wished for soft thin pillows otherwise everything here was par-excelence. This holiday wasn't just a holiday but saved me from going crazy after a long home confinement (thanks but no thanks to COVID lockdown). Thanks to the generous GM and his superb team of young people who not only wore masks and followed safety protocols but did everything to make us feel at home. I would love to bo back again. My family LOVED this property. Also a tip for visitors with kids, must go to KINARA restaurant for lunch it's very closeby.

A whole week spent at the Avion in the first week of June, was the best thing that could happen after the lockdown! We, mother & daughter, had a cozy ground floor room with the sweetest patio and garden to wake up to every morning and enjoy a hot cup of tea and the sound of chirping birds. Avion is a hotel that has a charm like no other. The ambiance is delightful, while the architecture is unique, taking you back in time with a choice of outdoor lighting, seating, and selective colours, that you don't find in today's hotels. The staff is attentive and courteous, and seemed to love where they are and what they do, which is what made us feel welcomed. Situated in the heart of Lonavala city, there is access to autorickshaws, take-aways, and the happy crowd of tourists which lends it it's vibrancy. There is parking, which makes it very convenient for travellers coming by road and all the other amenities, like the swimming pool, the children's play area, are an additional service that enhances your time with family and friends. We couldn't find more words to describe this experience than "a place of pleasure and peace" where you would love to be back again and again. See you again Avion, we hope to fly there soon enough (Avion means plane in French :)

Very conveniently located at the junction of Kumar Resort on the old Mumbai Pune highway. Though it is right on the main road, the rooms are away from the road and you don't hear the traffic in the resort. The property is old but excellently maintained. The rooms & toilets are renovated and tastefully decorated. The rooms on the ground floor have a balcony with sit out. The property is huge with a swimming pool, badminton court and lots of greenery. The breakfast spread is sufficient and tasty. The rates are also very reasonable.

Hotel Avion has a prime location bang on opposite the main hangout area of lonavala. This place has a very good garden area with pool which kids love to the core. Also on the weekend they have magic show and DJ which was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were good enough and food was decent. Breakfast buffet has many varieties. In the evening they have live counters for hi- tea. Over all very good property for family with kids with ample parking space.

Avion is a small yet beautiful property. European style structured building. Cozy rooms, neat and clean. Rooms are well sanitised. Felt like Goa. Direct bookings are available at good rate as compared to the online prices. Girl at the front desk was very polite and helpful all the time during our stay. Food was good. Service is quick. Will surely recommend to friends and family. Thankyou Avion staff for making our stay comfortable.
