Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We made last minute booking to this place, a day before holi holiday. Obviously most other swanky places were either fully booked or overpriced. We went here will not too many expectations, but must say were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality.
The hotel right behind the ST BUS stand at lonavla, which the center of the town. But that means no great views. Still there is enough greenery outside to keep the bustle away.
The room we got was a bit smaller than your average hotel room, but doesn't feel to cramped. The amenities are good nothing v special. Hot water round the clock is a blessing and its reliable.
Great room service : we traveled with our 5 mth LO, and loved to have meals in our room when the baby slept. Also, meals would be served in an orderly fashion (soup, starters, main course..) Which I felt was a nice touch.
Pool is available, but no poolside seating or service which makes the pool a moot point. Overall a good property with great service. Good enough for an overnight stay.

i checked in on 22 nd feb .overall my stay at the hotel was awsum.. room:-clean spacious . with a balcony..good interiors.chilling ac....and hot water whenever u want.. plus a room service which is quick... restaurant-we ordered food in room itself--it arrived in good time, the food was delicious plus not overtly expensive.thts good. room service--quick, good, and friendly staff, ready to answer all ur questions and help u . reception /front office staff- i thank them for allowing me a room as we had arrrived without reservations and they were a great help.even my checkout and billing was fast. there is swimming pool too. but i liked playing carrom in the sports part. location-- bang near the st stand..tht means u can roam around the city easily.. overall good experience, thanks team retreat heritage.

Our recent stay at Retreat Heritage Lonavala over the long Republic Day weekend is just the perfect example of how excellent staff and service can raise the customer experience of a hotel with avg. facilities, to an altogether different level! Special mention of the cook and restaurant staff who were always smiling and very attentive to customers' needs almost constantly!! We loved the smiling and gracious services.

It was horrible, pathetic and worst experience. Hotel and rooms are too dirty , Bathrooms are worst than any public toilet. Bathroom tiles are broken. a bathroom towel was placed as a rug to wipe the feet. the bathroom was so small that spilling half a bucket water wet the entire bathroom and water didnt go out. Couldnt get the Tv to work, even the remote was broken. and we could not call reception as the intercom was dead.
When we raised these issue they were least responsive. They charged us 6000₹ while this room doesn't deserve more than 1500-2000 for a night stay.

Stayed for 2 nights with family. Too expensive. Breakfast served was not up to the mark and doesn't have much options. Food was cold, needed me escalate to get them reheated. Cleanliness of the room was not there. No towels provided for one room. Poor service. However, reception service was good. Floor tiles were damaged. Curtains were torn off. No hot water in shower.

It's nice and safe without doubt. It will cost with in 3k if u r planning prior, i have booked it from trip advisor for about 2.5k approx. 12.00PM check in, 12.00PM next day check-out.
