It is the best Mahindraresort visited by us. I wife and my two sons and my daughter in law booked a 1 BR at the resort for three nights on 17/01/2020 to 19/01/2020 with check out on 20/01/2020, . But we were five adults hence had to incur extra person charges of Rs.1500 + 18% Tax per day. We stay in Mumbai and it is the nearest resort for us.We had been trying to book this resort for quite some time but only this time we were successful. As per our usual practice of spending less on transportation , we booked railway reservation from Thane Mumbai to Lonavala on the Deccan express. The train left Thane at 7.30am and reached Lonavala at 9.30am. Tungi resort is 27km from Lonavala. We asked the local guys. They connected to one Ramdas who got us to the Tungi Resort at 11.30am for 1100.. We were warned that the roads were not good But to our great relief more than ¾ th road has been repaired. There was a crowd at the check in., However the Manager Housekeeping got our formalities completed and we checked in within half an hour. We were allotted room No. 2012 on the ground floor.There was no welcome drink but at least we were given water . The BR1 rooms were spacious and good. There were two electric kettles and Microwave oven with microwave utensils.
we had a great time at the resort. The resorts is surrounded by beautiful greenery and hills. . We went for long walks. WE had come with packed food ,. There isa small hotel nearby where you can order snacks. The Holiday Hub was good

I have just returned from a blissful holiday at the club mahindra pavna lonavala resort. It was as perfect as a holiday can get. The resort is BEAUTIFUL and the cleanliness and maintenance is superlative. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and hospitable which goes a long way to make your holiday a wonderful and memorable experience. I have to mention Mr Ajit who ensured that my request for a lake facing room was fulfilled. It made our stay extra special. Mr Rahul suggested lovely yummy dishes for us at Amara restaurant which added greatly to the pleasure of eating our dinner at that amazing restaurant with a view to die for. The housekeeping staff comprising of Swapnil and Santosh was extremely efficient and kept our rooms spic and span..... The entire experience overall was fabulous 👍👍👍👍👍

Spread over a wide area, this is large resort near the lake. However we could not access the lake as the path the lake was still cluttered due to monsoon. The last 10 km drive to the resort is chassis breaking for any car. The resort has many different category of rooms, we were allowed the central area, the rooms were large and well equipped to typical Club Mahindra standards. Food at the restaurant is excellent with good service, buffet breakfast is sumptuous with a large spread. No alcohol, not even beer, served, however the resort does inform you in advance on this issue. The upkeep of the resort is challenging and yes, Covid seems to have had some impact on this like the lights in the garden area , making it a rather dark journey in the night to the restaurant. All in all, good for a day, unless you can do the forts nearby, which unfortunate,y due to poor roads can be daunting.

I have already been to this resort thrice before but this time I was travelling with a different set of people. We were two couples with an infant and had booked two studios.
We had requested the two studios to be given to us next to each other, and were told that, by default in case of bookings, where more than one room was booked under the same booking reference number, the management always on their, own tried to allot the rooms to the guest next to each other.
We were given two studio rooms adjacent to each other at the corner on the ground floor which was a very good allotment.
The studio apartment itself is quite big. It has one bedroom, one bathroom attached to the bedroom, 1 living room and 1 small attached kitchenette with the living room. The studio also has a balcony with chair and table where one can sit and enjoy the view.
The studio apartment is quite big for 2 people. However I was surprised to see a lizard in my studio apartment, though the housekeeping staff assigned to us, Mr.Santosh told us that the fogging is done regularly and is also done in the room in between check in and check out.
The resort has a game and activity area which is quite big and spacious and well connected with the swimming pool area. The resort has 3 swimming pools, one of which is an infinity pool. The resort has quite a lot of activities which are available on chargeable basis like riding bicycles on hire, 9D movies, playing pool etc.
Just opposite the dining area on the left side. there is big ground where the people can play cricket, football etc and other outdoor sports. The resort also has a badminton court.
There is also a small kids play room for kids aged upto 2 years within the activity area, however the same is not well maintained. The soft toys in this small kids play room are very dusty and need to be well maintained. There is lot of dust in this room and the management needs to clean it on a regular basis. Since the area is for small kids, extra care is to be taken and attention is to be paid for the maintenance and up keeping of this room.
The resort is quite big. The rooms of the resort are far away from the reception, dining and play area. The resort has its own set of vehicles and a toy train which is used to ferry passengers to and from the rooms. The guest are not allowed to use their own vehicles inside the resort to travel between rooms and the reception.
P.S. - The toy train runs only up till a particular area of the resort and therefore guest of some rooms of the resort where the toy train does not reach can only ferried to and from the rooms via the resorts own set of vehicles.
The resort also has a spa area opposite the dining area on the right side.
The resort is a very good place to relax and enjoy the weekend with family and friends. The resort also organises a lot extra curricular activities to be provided to its guest on its own on paid basis.

So this is my second visit to Tungi resort which started with lot of disappointment. I planned this trip for my son's birthday on 5th June. 1. Booking experience was smooth however none of the contact mentioned in CV was working. I wanted to make some arrangements for birthday but could not do because of this miss from ub Mahindra 2. We travelled with our parents who are senior citizens . Reached on time so we're expecting room to be ready. Though reached at 2 but rooms were not ready till 4pm. Again big disappointment. And when we got the room they were at the end of resort. Despite of making request while booking to have rooms close to restaurant, it was simply ignored. Only good thing was both the studios booked were closely 3. I called multiple times to do some decoration in the room but it was done somewhere at 8 pm. Almost when all enthusiasm of child was gone :( Good part is Jitendra from housekeeping tried his best to make the decor beautiful and also prepared cute flower arrangement for my son. Thank you Jitendra. Really appreciate efforts of housekeeping staff 4. We reached at 8 pm to restaurants but all tables were fool and we were asked to go back to room and order from thei gourmet option . Now there was no menu available in room. You have to call the reception and then they whatsapp you menu. It took nice 45 minutes just to get the menu on phone. We could order food only at 9 and we got it by 10 pm. Difficult to see my parents waiting as they need to take medicines on time. 5. Next day again after breakfast we visited th happyclub. This is really fun place for all age groups. My kid wanted to play the bike, there was no rush at happy club, despite requesting the person at counter alsot 5-6 time he shown least interest to start game.we left the club without playing the game
Overall worst experiance so far. I still need to spend 24 hours but disappointed service by CM. I am giving 3 stars for housekeeping people only.

We had awesome experience here. Found it to be a 10 star resort. Excellent service by each and every staff here with a smile on face. Special thanks to Mr Amol and his team for great service! Loved the concept of water saving, no plastic, love for nature (Environment friendly resort) Rooms were very comfortable. Cleanliness and hygiene at its best! Very very well-maintained clean and green beautiful path from reception area to the rooms. Enjoyed the nature walk with variety of beautiful flowers, pleasant chirping of birds and greenery for the three days of stay here from banquet to rooms. Healthy yet super delicious Satvic food is truly a USP of this resort! Thank you so much! Highly highly recommended!

This resort is around 30 kilometres from Lonavala on a hill. The road journey is really enjoying, but avoid going on holidays and weekends as traffic jams from Lonavala to the hotel can be nightmarish. It is in the midst of hilly jungle, one can have a captivating arial view of the dam from the resort. The resort offers every facility that one can expect in a resort. Though the rooms are spreaded across the area but there are e-vehicles round the clock to transport you to and from your room, time to time. The best part of this resort is the helping nature of the staffs. From reception to restaurant and maintenance to even security guards all are always ready to help you out and make your stay cherishing. Our room's maintenance incharge Madam Usha was so helpful that it was highly praiseworthy. My son had forgotten his earphone and Usha had deposited that to the counter post our check out. Even during our stay frequently would check whether everything was alright, whether we needed any thing or any help. Even at restaurant Mr. Raghavendra, one of the chefs were very helpful and understanding. I must say, it is one of the top resorts of club Mahindra that I have ever visited. Kudos to the team, keep it up.

The resort is not listed in the mahindra website and one cannot book it through their App or website making one wonder if it is a legal entity.The approach road from the main road is rough with potholes.The resort is located in the middle of nowhere and the lake view only from the reception area and pool. One has to be carefull while eating in the restaurant as the staff closes the buffet irrespective of the fact that the guests are eating.They are rigid/about the timing. Apart from ludo and carrom other activities are on payment basis. Though the resort is supposed to be for members only and booked on the phone from the call centre rooms are available to non members on websites

We had a wonderful stay at Club Mahindra Tungi. The place is nestled amongst nature with beautiful views of the lake along with lovely pathways for walking. Mr. Santosh, Mr. Ranjan and their team took good care of everything and we thoroughly enjoyed the various varieties of food as well. Club Mahindra tungi resort. Had a stay their for three nights it was a amazing stay the food was exceptional. Room had a amazing view. And what made the stay amazing was the hotel staff especially Restaurant manager Miss Kamini . Polite and humble personality such a young lady with amazing talent of hospitality.
