Recently I visited Hotel Aristro, I would say it was a nice experience. The rooms are spacious and bed is comfy. Location and view is pleasant. Service and menu options can be improved! In a nutshell, it's good for stay!

The place is looks nothing like the pics. It is very badly maintained. The reception area looks worse than the room. The beds are hard as rock. The walls have cracks and the paint is chipping off. The so called indoor games room is full of dust and can cause allergy. The hotel itself is far away from the main market area. If you dont have personal transport, it will be very difficult to move around. The pool was not in working condition. They dont serve liquor. But you can buy from outside and drink in your room. The rooms are quite large but dont have a view from any side. Food is average. I'm sure you can find a better place than this.

I booked this hotel through makemytrip for 3 nights. Me and my husband wanted to hotel bit away from market hustle so we chose this hotel. Also, budget wise this hotel suited us the most. The hotel is just 5 mins to 10 mins away from lonavala market but it is still remotely located and has quiet surroundings which made us feel really happy.
The rooms are well furnished and lit up. However, The paint on the walls was coming off a bit. Also 2 light bulbs were not working. The lights at corridor were also not working. The bathroom's tap was also broken but it was fixed as soon as we complained at reception. All these things can be avoided if taken proper care by management.
The only major disappointing part of hotel is its bed. Its the hardest bed I have ever slept on. The management should seriously do something about this. Other than this everything else was manageable.
The food at restaurant was bit costly but was good quality and quantity wise. The mughlai food is the best. Do try Murg Afsar.
We didn't go swimming as the pool was not completely filled and also the weather was too cold.
Overall the hotel deserves 3 stars but I have given 1 star extra for the food and courteous hardworking staff.
I do recommend this place for weekend stay.

I have booked Hotel Aristro for 21-22 May 2017, 2 nights stay at Lonavala. But it was very disappointing stay and service. Here are the problems we faced. I travelled with my wife, son, brother-in-law and mom. ~ There was a huge lake of cleanliness in whole property. Just reception area and restaurant was clean. Else, our room, passage, stairs - you can see spiders and spider-web everywhere. When we were given the rooms at 12pm, Whole corridor wasn't broomed or wiped. They were cleaning and it looked like no one booked this property since long time. If you walk without footwear, you can feel stickiness which says that they haven't cleaned the floor for atleast 7-10 days. Situation is recorded in photos which I can email you if you like to see. ~ Swimming pool wasn't clean. I requested on the day I checked in. but still it was same for all 3 days. Leaves, insects, feathers were swimming with us. Also, water was so dirty so you can't see the pool bottom. They have put a sign board at entrance of property saying "Pool is open of all @ Rs 250". And there were 5-6 persons on first day from local village and same on next day. So, where is our privacy, security, safety when we are paying this money? ~ Lift wasn't working so mom had to use stairs 3-4 times a day. ~ They have kitchen ladder at end of the corridor, so whole corridor was stinking. Its ladder shows the situation of whole area in video-photos. ~ Bathroom shower handle was broken, so whenever we try to turn, it comes out. Wash basin has mixture tap which was huge in size of basin, so whenever you start the tap, water flows on you. ~ Spiderweb were seen in corridor, in our room, at stairs etc. Games zone was just a storage area of mattress and useless stuff. ~ We were ready to go for sightseeing on 22nd morning at 7:30am. But breakfast wasn't ready until 8:20am. I was told by one of the guy at reception that we will make it ready by 8am. So, we were getting late. We left without having breakfast. ~ We gave our room keys to reception at 8:15am on 22nd for cleanup. But when we can back at 1:40pm, the room wasn't done at all. The manager said, "our staff is at lunch, will make it in 10-15 mins". What the hell they did for 5 hours when we gave the keys? And when the guy came for cleaning, he didn't clean bathrooms, didn't change towels, didn't put water bottles, didn't put shampoo-soap. And the way he did brooming, I must admit that I am far-far better room cleaner then him. He wasn't interested to do anything at all. Just sprayed some liquid at 1 spot and then wiped whole room. I have to request reception for bathoom cleaning, so reception guy asked him and then he did. Once he left, then we came to know that he didn't change towels, shampoo etc. So, I had to request reception for everything again.
So, overall experience was horrible. The property looked like a guest house. It doesn't make the property "HOTEL" whether you provide swimming pool, game zone or furniture in the room. Guests need best service so we can think of the property every time when we plan the trip. I would rather choose to stay in Dharmshala or a lodge rather than paying to this hotel.

We had the worst experience of our life at Hotel Aristro. One cannot rate the service as it was way below standards. There were no water, towels and soaps provided on checking in. We had to ask for it. The breakfast was eaten just becoz we had to fill our tummies. If you order for anything in the room it takes minimum one our to serve. No communication between the reception and the kitchen / room service. The accessories in the bathroom were all leaking and basin was choked up. Very poor maintenance. Wall leakages in bathroom hence unhygienic. Mattress quality was bad. Very poor quality Wi Fi. One should not think of staying here even if it is the last available space in Lonavala.

Very close to the highway.. Spacious and comfortable rooms..clean & posh bathrooms.. Within my budget.. Couldn't ask for anything more! If just the pool was located better, the stay would have had been great.

Visited this hotel off season. It was a weekday. Even though the hotel was deserted, it was expensive. However, the rooms were pretty spacious and well maintained. The restaurant, which probably was the only option for lunch or dinner was also overpriced. We had to take an auto to locate another eatery in the heart of the city. Decent hotel, but the management needs to rework on its pricing.

Visited on 18th June for 2 nights. Seems to be a good property but very poorly managed. Overall had a bad experience. No one cares if the customer is facing any problems. Main tap in bathroom was not working so asked reception to send someone and after 30 mins one person came and he told that he will send someone else to look into this but no one came. Bed was most pathetic, very hard and springs hurt when u sleep on it. Unable to sleep whole night. Pillow covers and bed sheets were very dirty. Lots of mosquitoes. Indoor activities area was very dirty and scary no one will can wait there for more than 5 mins. Location is very far from main bazaar and you won't get any transport nearby need to walk a lot. Food rates are very high don't know what they were thinking while deciding rates. Morning breakfast was very bad. Restaurant area has lots flies and mosquitoes to accompany you. Overall worst place to visit.

We checked in on 25th Dec 2015, came all the way from Chennai - landed at Pune airport, all went on smooth - till we checked into the hotel. Terrible is the word and I can't define more. Rest rooms were awful, water from wash basin was splashing all over toilet, faucet was not proper. The room was so so untidy and beds were yucky...I am really afraid as how am I going to spend 4 days here in such a filthy place. For 4K per day I did not expect such a awful room. The hotel is near the high way and always you get the vehicles sounds passing by..pathetic.. As though they belong to star category, they were not refunding money for my one day earlier check out. Swimming pool - Opps I have not seen such a beautiful swimming pool - no water and labourers were doing repair works. Actually this is the time the hotel has to look hep but it was really low, my holiday plans were spoiled completely. Also I asked them whether I can get a good room, but they did not offer one... No one is contactable in the number they have given, they charged me 20K for 5 days while I booked online, but I want to check out a day earlier and some how contacted them a two weeks before, but no response, finally response came three days before check in - they said they will not refund money and I can check out a day earlier. Every hotel restaurant has lunch from 12 to 3, this weird hotel does not have anything when I checked in at 12.30 PM. I don't even recommend a decent family this hotel ever.

This hotel is on the outskirt of lonavala,so you should have your vehicle if you plant to stay here,since it will be easy to visit all the tourist spots. the food was ok and the room were spacious. the only problem was the tap in the was basin.
