The property is located inside the “real” Lonavala and not on the highway. If lucky you get a view of the Lonavala lake and the beautiful mountains from the room and one part of the lake is just a small distance away
The Hotel doesn’t or didn’t serve liquor, we were informed that this is true even for normal times, so tipplers please note
The rooms are good but need to be maintained better as we could see the deterioration in the doors, floors, electrical fittings not working etc
The a la Carte dinner was quite good but the breakfast could be much better, seemed to be less salt in some dishes
There was a magic show organised on Saturday evening which was awesome and made the stay memorable and compensated for some of the defects above. The ventilation and good weather ensured that the Air Conditioning was not required, again a plus point due to the mountains and lake nearby
There was a on the house Kabab counter which was excellent but could have been managed better as demand exceeded supply
Overall the staff was good except 1 waiter who didn’t seem to understand requests like water required at the table.
It’s a good stay but don’t carry too much expectations for the price charged

A good resort for vacationing with family. The rooms are good with all the basic amenities. Rates are quite reasonable. The service is good as well.
The in-house restaurant serves quality food (Especially butter chicken) and both buffet as well as a la carte options available.
The swimming pool is big enough to enjoy for everyone and has a separate section for kids with less depth. In recreation, there are multiple options like carrom, table tennis, badminton etc.

A good resort for vacationing with family. The rooms were clean with basic amenities and rates were affordable. The service was good.

This resort has a good sized swimming pool with separate section for kids (lesser depth). It also offers various recreational activities like carrom, table tennis and badminton etc.

I visited this place in the last week of December 2020 accompanied by family, including my kid. If you are looking for a relaxed stay coupled with spending some quality time with your family especially if you have a kid then this is the property you should definitely give a chance. Located close to Lonavala city and even closer to the Expressway it is very convenient. Room service, quality of bed, sit-out and every thing else was as it was supposed to be. Hotel facilities like pool, playing area, kids area, dining areas were managed wonderfully. Food tasted awesome. Despite being a fairly large property it was kept clean all throughout the day. Their promptness surprised us when we wrote about a very minor issue in their review sheet about the wall clock in our room not working and they fixed it immediately. Yes food is priced slightly on the expensive side but I guess the quantity and taste more than makes up. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in common areas which is wonderful. Wish their complimentary Wifi support was powerful. A Vodafone tower is just next to the hotel which means the property has the best reception of Vodafone you will ever get. Will surely visit again.

So the story goes we checked in on 21st October 2020 ( My 5th or 6th visit). After checking in I told Mr Sushil, I have a reservation from Agoda and to please search , which he arrogantly replies he can't find the reservation so it is not der ,( reservation) so I asked him to please check again which he finds from travelguru( don't how agoda reservation went to travel guru) , so he replies rudely u should have said travelguru..I said ok. Now comes checking in with the family he ( meanwhile security is constantly bothering me please park ur cark sticking to the other one ) it's weekday and there are only 4 cars in the parking , so now juggling my 6 year old and 3 year old and Mr babu lounging around that he is the guest ( oh I love his job) says my son is 6 years old , I said he is 5 but I have don't any validation (kindly excuse this time) since covid and from the hotels in Lonavala I chose yours . He arrogantly says we are being watched in cctv (point taken) and follow the rules thrown a huge register of children ids shown to me ( parents beware of your children identity spewed around). I said I understand so I will leave it what u akk us..please understand am an old guest. Brother shushil says aggrogantly so what.. I said then I need to cancel my 31st booking with you too, HE SaYS please do that "haan kar dijiye". Now dilema is my money stuck and mr babu moving like a babu and my two kids watching mr Sushil and mr babu when they will enter my room .. gulped my customer satisfaction inserting my finger in oxygen counter moved up carrying up own luggage to my room 106 , guess what tv started with a big hiss surprise no set up box.. List goes on like the previous guys comment I didn't order much from FnB
Point is once a amazing property from avion truly the main avion hotel is very good I agree. Arrogance towards customer is ruining the property.. I don't want to comment on anyone's behaviour how they speak on someone's face..but the attitude spoils the fun when you are on paying side ..'the customer" ..you know what I mean right..and my beloved hotel ruined by a "Babu and his disciple"

We were looking for a weekend getaway to Lonawala and finally shortlisted San Lawrenz. Was a bit apprehensive considering the earlier reviews, but finally booked 2 deluxe rooms for my family. We were given two rooms A1 and A2 with a connecting door in between. Both rooms were on the ground floor and opened into a beautiful sit out and badminton court. The rooms were spacious and, tastefully designed and included a bath tub! The property is huge and beautiful will a large swimming pool and indoor games. Evening, the hotel provided complimentary tea and snacks which included pav bhaji and uthappas. Breakfast spread was good and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wont hesitate to make this our regular weekend getaway!

Good location. Lake is just a few minutes away. Not on the main road so quite peaceful. Decent sized clean rooms. Nice play area for badminton and table tennis etc. Breakfast is excellent wtih lot of options. Lunch and dinner was decent, perhaps could include goan food. Price for room is a bit on the higher side but food cost is very reasonable. Swimming pool area is big and pool was clean. Nice tent setup near the dining area. Feels like in Goa. Magic show was organised which was nice entertainment. Lot's of greenery and spacious enough to take a walk after lunch or dinner. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Location of this is the best as and environment of lush green with good seating options and swing and swimming pool . Staff is minimum and not cooperative . Manager is not proper . Who said us not available any rooms but we got the rooms online and that was cheaper . In restorant worst food that no test and just like serve in hospital. They don’t prepare again after complaining and that because they had no time for satisfying us . We the leave food and eat in Picaddle resort outside they have fast food like dosa , sandwiches, burger , etc . That was cheaper and best in test with good hygiene. My no 9825022367 . I give this no for your betterment. We love the premise but to improve is best to run . So owner is suffering after all and he may contact us .

I visited this place for the second time and I must say this amazing place never disappointed me. It is just simply amazing. Right from the hospitality of the people who manage the place right to the room cleanliness and also the delicious food, everything in the hotel is top notch.
Even to our surprise they had a barbecue, magic show and dj night on Saturday and high tea, games night and dj night on Sunday.
Lastly I would say if you want to get away from the hustle bustle of your daily life Villa Sans Lawrence is your go to place. It is gives you a sense of peace and calm and the a lovely feeling of being within nature.

Well maintained Villa rooms, even if you opt for Standard rooms, you will get good amenities like Balcony, good seating area in the room. Bed size is really big as I am 6 feet tall, it was perfect. Staff is polite, restaurant staff is very cooperative. Surrounding Areas are well maintained. Swimming pool is clean. Highly recommended. Food quality is good.
