This is such a beautiful peaceful place. Opposite a fantastic snorkelling beach. Very quiet and easy going. The kids loved it also. The villas are simple but perfect. Bathrooms delightful. Manicured gardens and great food in the open sided restaurant. We sat and read our books while the kids played. A real holiday experience.

Read this review bearing in mind that the cost of these bungalows, which sleep four, is about £15 a night, including breakfast. So it's not in any sense luxury accommodation, but good value. There are four bungalows in an attractive garden, each with a double bed on the ground floor, a steep staircase to a mezzanine with a double and...

Very nice hotel with a great host (a French lady) who's very talkative and knows everything about the region. Rooms are very clean, look awesome and the open-air bathroom is just amazing. It's located right in front of the beach (100meters), has restaurants and food shops around. Only downside is the price (we paid 350 000 Indonesian Rupiah/night) but it's...

I've been going to Lipah for years, and had tried many of the other available places. I always stay at Le Jardin now: there's nothing to match it on price, comfort, cleanliness and charm. Marie has made a most beautiful garden in which there are four bungalows. Each has an outdoor bathroom surrounded by a high wall, a verandah with...

This is based on a poor experience in the cafe. We were looking for a place to eat dinner. Decided not to order dinner after we ordered our drinks. First, the waitress/cook was resting (Iying down) in the cafe when we came in. The drinks menu, showing an impressive selection of mixed fruit juices and varieties of teas, was a...

Although I did not stay here, I did have breakfast here most mornings and dinner once. Breakfast was wonderful as they baked there own bread and served nescafe coffee. Satff were really friendly, food was delicious and the surroundings were beautiful. Restaurant is on the main Lipah road but it is very quiet as the restaurant is surrounded by an...

We stayed for 3 nights in October 2010 and this was one of my favourite places to stay because of the accomodation and the positioning so close to a lovely beach with great snorkelling. The rooms are spaced out and have a lovely patio area for sitting and a comfy hammock, lovely and clean with amazing outdoor bathrooms, we had...

We stayed at Le Jardin for three nights in August, and we loved it! We were honestly sad to leave. The bungalows were very cute, set in a colourful, well-cared for garden. Marie, the owner is very friendly and liked to have a chat with us. The food was really tasty - we loved the home-made bread - and the...

During our trip to Bali, this was maybe our best accomodation. 4 bungalows in a small paradise. Beautiful garden. Amed s beach is 100 m away. Marie was very kind to us, cooking a very good breakfeast and giving good tips.
