Pondok Vienna Beach is a lovely hotel that has the beach basically right at your front door. The hotel has its on snorkelling gear so you can experience the beautiful fish and coral. They have good food and lovely customer service! I recommend this to a couple who want to just literally relax! Especially with the lovely ladies who come... More

It is one of the few places where you could snorkel straight from the beach. The hotel has a wave retaining wall. walk down few steps to the nice black sand beach. There you could just swim off and enjoy the underwater view. Snorkel gear could be rented from one of the beach boys there for about $3/day. Some of... More

If, like me, being ON the water rather than nearby with a "garden view" matters to you, and you're on a budget, Vienna Pontok is your best choice in Amed. Although they don't have the gorgeous gardens of Kembali Cottages, they are much cheaper, their price includes dinner, and the bungalows are actually more spacious and with much better views.... Viena Beach. Your walk in price is excellent. Food is very good. Quality and quantity excellent. Room are a good size and below your balcony the waves are lapping the beach. Just one thing. The beds are firm so bring a topper if staying a while. Friendliness. Its Bali. All smiles. Viena beach has this and more. Truly great staff.... More

The location is superb, the waves do lap almost on your doorstep and the staff are delightful to deal with. That's where the praise starts to winter like yesterday's salad. Having visited Bali many times over a long period I can say that the standard of most older accommodation is generally well maintained. This place was the exception, with our... More

This mid range accommodation was nestled in tropical foliage on the seafront. Heaven for sleeping. The beach has black sand and the sea is rocky but beautifully refreshing and the snorkelling is enjoyed by many. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. A simple breakfast and dinner are included in the tariff. We enjoyed the meals. For a quiet getaway... More

The Pondok Vienna Beach in Bali at Lipah Beach in Amed is a very nice place to stay during a trip through Bali or as a stop going on to the Gilis or to Lombok by Fast Boat. Good rooms with air-con, bathroom, 2 beds, breakfast & lunch by the own restaurant; good service; and all just on the beach!... More

How do you beat being this close to the ocean. I hate to say it but this place is awesome. The rooms are fare but the location is amazing. You can hear the waves breaking while you are in bed. Walk out the door and there is the best beach in Amed. They are slowly remodeling the rooms and honestly... More

Sweet little hotel right on the beach. Crashing waves 10 metres from your room . For $40USD it's amazing value . Nice staff , beautiful clear - Cyrstal clear water, massages avail, food $2-$4 . Incredible value. Sleepy little Amed is a gem. Low key and like the old Bali . I will be back .
