Stayed here for a couple nights but regret even booking. The old man and big girl were very mean and lied about everything they told us. The girl grabbed my girlfriends wrist very hard for no reason because she did not like her. The only nice staff member was the girl with the baby. The old man owner was shouting...

Our experience was so bad I'd almot call it a scam, stay away from this place! We got an unfinished room with minimal low-frame bed with crappy spring-mattress, no other furniture, tiny window looks out on a concrete wall with some trash in between. Nothing like the 4-poster bed in pictures. What we booked as "bungalow" is actually one of...

I have been one week in Joli Homestay since I really felt totally at home here. The bungalows are simple but new, very clean and quiet. So it is a really good price-quality deal. The common area is cozy and if you want you can have a chat with other travellers here. The staff, especially Julie, is really nice and...

We stayed here for only two nights (wish we'd stayed longer!) and couldn't have been happier with it. We paid 130,000IDR (about £6.50!) per night for a double room with ensuite bathroom. Very simple but just what we wanted, plus it had a small terrace at the front with two chairs and a table so we could sit outside overlooking...

For 150k it's a good homestay! No cockroaches, all windows do shut, you've got the feeling of being safe, awesome shower, free wifi (not the fastest but good enough for internet! For Skype and YouTube it's maybe a bit to slow), beautiful bed, friendly owner, big room, big bed, totally clean, inkl. Breakfast (pancake with banana) and nice location! The...

Me and my girlfriend booked in here for 2 nights but extended to 3 as there was plenty to do close by in the area. The room was of a good standard, good value for money, it was clean with a decent mosquito net provided. Joli made us feel like part of his family and even put on a leaving...

We enjoyed our stay in the new private bungalow for 150rp very much. This was definately over our backpacking standard. The Nasi Goreng is great, breakfast (banana pancake) is something they still have to improve. The family was very nice during our stay and tried to help wherever they could! Their prices for transport and diving were too high for...

First impressions were great. Our room is incredibly spacious, airy, clean - almost villa-like inside. The shower is wonderful, as are the bed and mosquito net. We only had one chair but the family quickly brought us another one. They were also very accommodating with the wifi - we both need it for work, and they moved the router into...

Just 3 minutes walk away from one of the best off shore snorkling and drop-off diving spots in Bali a quiet and lovely homestay is hidden. Good-valued Joli Homestay is behind Eco Dive in Jemeluk, Amed. It has two different gardens with different settings. One garden shares the family living quarters and in theother one a new restaurant/community area was...
