Excellent hotel, beautiful views, good food, environmentally friendly, etc. We only stayed there for 3 nights but regretted not extending our stay. The hotel is quiet, there's an infinity pool with gorgeous views of the mangrove, a hot tub for adults only with similar views. There's plenty of deck chairs to choose from. The service is like most places in Bali: super helpful and polite staff who will do everything for you. The food in the restaurant is lovely (I recommend the satay mix that comes in a mini charcoal barbecue to your table!). There are kayaks you can rent and easily go to very near sandy beaches (with some nice snorkeling spots, restaurants, etc). The hotel has water fountains for drinking water as they don't use plastic. The toiletries follow the same pattern (and the bathrooms are outdoors which is really cool). The place is quite isolated, especially because it's near a national park. But if you're looking for nature and quiet, this place is perfect. If anything, I'd say prices can be on the high end for Bali, but I think it's expected for such an isolated place. I'd definitely recommend the hotel. …

Not our kind of place. We booked two nights to allow a day trip to Menjangan Island then ended up doing that before our first night so just spent the second day at the resort. There was no mention on Hotels.com that the bathrooms were open air, something we both really dislike. We never managed to get any hot water in the basin or shower. The basin plug (sink stopper to Americans) was totally seized so it wouldn't seal but, on the other hand, drained very slowly. The curtains were very flimsy, letting in light. There was a light directly outside a window that didn't have a switch and was on until the early hours of the morning. The bed was very hard. On the other hand, the staff were excellent, the location stunning and the food in the restaurant really good.

Spent a week here and enjoyed my time relaxing and scuba diving. The staff were very attentive and the room was really nice. Large grounds to walk around and the food was good at the restaurant. The diving centre offered trips each day, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The team was great and the diving was unexpectedly good - I’d done no research. Nice to be in this part of Bali. Transfer was well organised from the airport, and the spa massage was great ! I will hopefully be back

We spent 9 days in this beatiful resort, rooms are fantastic, the staff absolutely friendly and super polite. Food? We are italian and we did enjoy it!! Dive center inside the resort (Extra Divers), very well orginized. We spend a beautiful holiday 😀

Was a beautiful place,large grounds that were well kept. It was a little remote but I think places are there, we were able to walk down the long driveway and have dinner at the other hotel for a change of scenery. We had contacted Idris for our guide for snorkeling and cycling. He was excellent what’s Ap +62 823-4018-5768. We came from Sanur and got a ride to the park with Made(pronounced Maddy) he was great, easy to talk to and very interesting. What’s Ap +62 817-9766-612 We had also done the temple tour with Made from Sanur (Bali) Was glad to see the water bottle refill stations on the grounds at the hotel. Wasn’t glad to swim with cellophane by the coral reefs and see all the trash washed up in the mangrove forest on the bike ride. Indonesia needs to stop the source off all their trash washing into their waterways to the ocean.…

Had the most wonderfully pleasant 3 night stay at the Bayview Suite. This small but spacious little villa is perfect for a couple. The staff was excellent. Restaurant food was so good that we had all our meals there. Great resort for getting away from it all.

I stayed here with my family and enjoyed a peaceful time. The facilities are great with super helpful staff, a fantastic infinity pool overlooking the bay and a convenient spa. The reflexology i had was superb and the snorkling was first class. The kids loved the huge variety of fish. A bit of the beaten path but well worth the journey!

Sipping on fresh coconut poolside. watching my 9 and 12 year old in the pool all day is just what I needed. They would come out to enjoy a nana split and play pool. The staff even did craft time with them. We stayed in the lumpung suit and it was the perfect size with a built in large bathtub. Our snorkeling tour boat ride was great you can not miss it we saw every school of tropical fish you could imagine. The best part was the staff from management to all the wait staff we already miss them they are a great team. Please go visit them and they monkeys will be sure to greet you as well. We learned this is a locally owned and operated eco resort so please don’t skip it it’s worth the drive.

Naya Gawana is a beautiful Eco resort in a quiet area of Bali, everyone should take the time to discover this lovely off the well travelled road area. The location is stunning, we stayed in a Bay View lodge and had wonderful views, the room was beautiful and we loved the outdoor garden and bathroom. All of the staff at the resort were excellent and really took the time to make sure we had an excellent stay. There is very little evidence in Bali to back up the commitment to discontinue single use plastics by the end of 2022 but this resort really shows their commitment with water dispensers in all areas, reusable metal water bottles in the room and refillable ceramic bottles for all complimentary toiletries, well done Naya Gawana! What a memorable place to stay, the staff knows how to serve from the heart. We did snorkling activity around Menjangan island one of the best spot in Bali. Look for Mr. Astika for assistance, friendly personality and provide us with very helpful info regarding the surrounding. Really recomended, pretty sure will come back in the future.
