We went many times to Sunrise cafe. Pa Nyoman, the owner and fisherman and Nilla will take care of you. The Sunrise cafe is on the beach and you can go snorkeling from the hotel ! Wonderfull place to snorkel here with thousand of different fishes, 20 meters from the room ! Pa Nyoman can also take you to fish,...

We first ate at this cafe in January 2016. My meal then was superb, barbecued fish! Can't remember what my husband had, but he had to help me eat the fish ...so much and SO tasty!. That meal I'd give 5 stars. This time (August 2016) I had grilled fish and vegetables which was really nice, but not as good...

The rooms are very nice and comfortable, with an amazing view on the beach and volcano. The host is a super friendly man that will do a lot to make your stay however you want it to be. Also the food is very nice for reasonable prices! A must go to if you're visiting Amed :)

This is a review just of the cafe and not the bungalows. We were there for afternoon tea/ dunch. My husband tried the coconut pancake - two large flat pancakes with coconut bits. Quite yummy but it could have been a bit more coconutty. I ordered the fish and coconut satay but they said they were out of coconut for...

Sunrise Cafe offers pretty cheap and clean rooms (250 IDR, 2 beds) and most of them even have a balcony with sea view! Breakfast is included and there is plenty to choose from (even fresh fruit juice). They also serve very tasty fish dishes, which only cost about 30 IDR. -mosquito nets above the beds -no hot water -free wifi

Do not stay here! I found a live bed bug in my room upstairs at night around 9.30pm. I think the whole mattress is infected. I showed the hotel receptionists the live bed bug, they got me to move to the room next door but I think that room is full of bed bugs as well because the bed sheet...

It is all about ambience here: Nyoman Getas is a really nice owner, his daughters are a little bit weird but friendly and the hotel is a very nice place on the beach, despite the cockroaches. Good food, comfortable beds, beautiful sunrises. And cheap, very cheap.

Sunrise is indeed the place to see a magnificent sunrise. Lombok appears slowly on the horizon at first light only to fade within moments as the humidity draws a veil over the island and its looming Mt Rinjani. That is the start of a brilliant day. Sure it is rustic and a little frayed around the edges but it is...

We stayed there exactly 2 hours, the time to make another choice, dirty and unkempt is the first impression. More flies than customers, not recommended. Children pee in the flower boxes in the restaurant

In 2012, I stayed at Meditasi in Amed and loved the town--so quiet, friendly, and beautiful. I returned in 2014 and decided to try Sunrise Cafe, because in town, close to Apneista for freediving and Eco Dive for scuba diving. The 3 room upstairs have a lovely view--right on the beach, in front of the ocean, and I kept the...
