A little run down and could do with some improvements with basic security. No locks on bathroom doors which have open ceilings and easily entered from the roof. Safe did not work although staff promised to arrange it. Locks on bedroom doors not too flash either. Nice staff who were happy to help out and kept things tidy and clean....

We stayed at Anakula Villas in Feb 2013 in Villa Satu with myself and my partner and another couple for 2 weeks. We were a bit hesitant about the villas as of some of the reviews we had read. We were pleasantly surprised as it was clean and nice better then we expected. The staff were lovely with your rooms...

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of January. The villa was bright. Nice two bedroom. A great pool and it was quite clean. The location was pretty good because it nears with everything. The living & dining area was an open area close to the pool. So for family with small toddler must be...

I work and live in Bali and for Christmas my family were coming to visit. Since I live out of the main town where everything is on your doorstep - we decided to stay at Villa Anakula so that we were close to everything and everyone could come and go as they pleased. The location is superb!!!!!! A few hundred...

Anakula, Owner at Anakula Villas, responded to this review

More than 5 months ago a guest one-sidedly claimed she lost monies in our villa, which she also claimed that such monies were put in the safe deposit of the villa. The management of the villa immediately called the police to investigate such claim. However, after more 24 hours of police investigation, including asking questions to 3 staffs of our...

Great Villa. Six of us stayed at Anakula and we had a great time. The villa is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The layout was functional and private. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our air-conditioner was not working too well so they attempted to fix it but couldn't so it was replaced within hours. We were very happy...

we travelled to bali with another family in August 2012 and stayed in the two connecting villas. we were expecting the worst having read some of the reviews and were pleasantly surprised. There was a strong smell of mould and rank water but Bali is a third world country! the staff were wonderful however we had some trouble with our...

Ms RebeccaHamer said it all, and I agree with her 100%. I'll just add a little bit more as we've actually stayed there last May. We stayed at Villa Satu (One), the one where the guardhouse is (bit odd thou cos on our wifi connection, we can only connect to Villa Dua (two) LoL). Anyway, if you look at the...

I live and work in Bali. My family is coming up here for Christmas and I live about 30 mins out of Legian / Seminyak. So we thought that as a treat we would all rent a villa closer to town for a few days. I was recommended Villa Anakula through an agent and it looked wonderful on their website....

“Not suitable if your child cannot swim as the bedroom doors are hard to lock and pool is so close to your living areas. Choose a Villa that is the shade in the afternoon as the living area can get hot.We had the middle one, perfect. ( Villa 2)”
