What a fabulous experience. General Manager Mr Fritz greeted us and made sure we have everything we need. Our luxurious villa with a pool looked out over the jungle. The room is rich designed with carved wooden wall all over the area. It has very nice and comfortable bed in Balinese style. It is such an unique experience. Service was... More

Staying at Ayung felt like being transported into a state of true relaxation I have never felt before. In a sea of boutique hotels in Bali, this resort, more off the road and a bit farther from Ubud than others, is absolutely worth the value. The staff, restaurant, spa and overall atmosphere were outstanding.

I am a travel agent and made a trip to Singapore, Java and Bali this summer. On our way through Bali we stayed 2 nights at Ayung Resort Ubud. This hotel blew my mind away with his beauty! We had a superior room with a view on the pool and the breathtaking Ubud forrest. The service is perfect and the... More

We spent 3 nights at the resort. The resort is lm the outskirts lf ubud, and a good 20min ride into town means it is secluded from all the usual touritsy areas. Nothing much around, so if you are looking for a spa, a warong or any activity, be prepared to travel. The restaurant is excellent. Fantastic staff, with a... More

If complete isolation and an amazing view are what you are looking for this is perfect. We stayed for our anniversary for four days, which was long enough to really relax. We had an amazing, traditional-style villa overhanging the forrest. What truly makes this place special is the warm and friendly staff and the fantastic food at the restaurant. As... More

I have a lot to say about this resort. First of all, it was my first 5- star hotel experience so I was obviously overwhelmed. Having booked this hotel, because of a glitch, which advertised the room at 1p per night, and subsequently being offered a price of 1 000 000 IDR per night (approximately 60 quid) I really couldn't... We fell in love with Ayung Resort the first time we stayed here a couple of years ago. This time, we chose Ayung to stay as a part of our honeymoon trip. As always, outstanding service. They made our stay super special with fresh flower garlands and cute decorations, and with their service of course. We found very friendly travelers... More

We stayed here for 9 nights in October 16 and found the resort to be fantastic. The room was large and spotless, the breakfast menu was varied and good quality but the fine dining was unbelievably good. The presentation and quality was incredible and would not have been out of place in Michelin 3 star restaurant. The staff were always... More

The Ayung Resort is a breathtaking, mystique and unique lifestyle hotel, perched high up on the bank of a mostly untouched tropical mountain rainforest gorge, in the traditional Balinese village of Payangan Ubud, surrounded by the gentle, spiritual tranquility and pace of Balinese life.
