My wife and I stayed here for 14 days. We were absolutely blown away. The staff were amazing and would accommodate any request. They knew our names after 2 days and were like family by the end of a week. The resort is a hidden gem and is truly what Bali should be (a stress free oasis). The resort is something I only imagined the rich and famous could enjoy. (Unfortunately I am neither rich nor famous!) The spa was amazing, it is beautifully designed and the staff are top notch. Prices are more than reasonable for the services. Accommodations were straight up luxury. From the size and amenities of the Villa to the beautiful kimonos and impeccable cleaning/laundry services. We stayed in Alila 1 and loved every minute. The food was fresh and made to order every time. My wife has Celiac disease and staff were knowledgeable and very accommodating. The kitchen made sure gluten free bread was available daily!!! We took many of the offered experiences and all were breathtaking. The guides were amazing, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and very accommodating. My wife was able to get all of her “Instagram photos” and then some. The resort created a trip that wasn’t offered and that was spectacular. Our stay was truly life altering (I’m not joking) if I could quit my job and move to Samanvaya I would. I cannot praise this resort enough, thank you for everything.…

The hotel Samanvaya was a beautiful and lovely place in Sidemen, Bali. We loved everything. The nice room, the pool, the place inside of the village, the cocktails, the people and the restaurant for breakfast and delicious dinner. Everything nice and perfect for a relaxing time in Bali. Nice, still a quiet place in the middle of a nice valley with rice fields, hills and forest which are great for walks and tours. Nice bungalows, some a bit dark, others more open even so with limited space for bigger bags. Nice interior, open bathrooms and mosquito net covered beds. Excellent dishes in the restaurant for lunch and especially dinner. Breakfast falls somewhat behind the quality of the dishes. All in all a bit limited space around the plunge pools if all guests hang around the resort. All together worth to go, great place, great food. Friendly owners and staff, all in all to recommend to stay a few days before Sidemen tourism grows further into somewhat like Ubud these days.

I am glad you enjoyed exploring the Sidemen Valley and Asri dining. We have 15 rooms in total (3 of which have private pools) so the remaining 11 rooms we have 8 double sized daybeds plus two more in other close by areas to the pool. The most beautifull resort in the most beautifull area of the most beautifull island in the world. This combined with the most friendly staff and best food in their fine dining Asri restaurant, combined with the incredible massage in their Ananda Spa This place is the defenition of Paradise on Earth!

I would like to rate the Spar in particular. Had one of the best massages here in Bali. I can only recommend. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and the massage, as I said before, was one of the best I've experienced in Bali. Very good.

It was really great spending time in Joglo Villa. We celebrated my wife’s birthday. The villa was excellent, very spacious, calm and quiet. We played some Ghibli’s songs and felt like we felt like we were in Ghibli world. Services of Samanvaya were perfect, they are kind and gave us appropriate advices. We will recommend my friends to stay in Samanvaya, very nice place.

Such a beautiful resort set in a stunning setting that instantly instills calmness. We were welcomed by friendly faces, cold towels and some cold tea which was really nice after a long trip there. We were shown our beautiful villa Moana, a 2 storey villa, with views looking out over rice fields. The villa was 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one en suite. I could have made it home, I didn’t want to leave! There is a water filter in the villa and other details that clearly showed Samanvaya care about the environment. The robes in the wardrobe were so nice we ended up getting our own before we left. The villas are beautifully designed to a high spec. We were impressed. The food was incredible. We didn’t have a bad meal. We could not get over how good the food was. So tasty and great choice. There are some vegetarian options too which was great to see. We were asked on arrival whether we had any allergies etc and I really did feel like the staff and chef would accommodate any food dietary requirement. The Balinese coffee in the morning as well was amazing, I would recommend you try it. There is a shop just over the road from the resort. Such a beautiful shop and it’s where we purchased our robes from. There are items in there from candles, to jewellery, clothing items (for both men and women) along with bags, homeware and sunglasses. The list is endless and we were really pleased to take some goodies away with us. Certain items bought mean that 100% of the profits go to local charities. It is very clear that Samanvaya is a hugely supports their local community. Cue falling in love with this place even more! Lastly, the staff. They were constantly smiling, constantly trying to help any way they could if needed but also would just chat to you as well. It was easy to get to know a little bit about them in the short time we were there. It was sad to say goodbye to them. Truly wonderful people. We will go back and we highly recommend Samanvaya to anyone. There is not one aspect of a stay there that did not get 5 stars. We even met the owner who lives on site and found out a bit more about Samanvaya which was really great. Such a wonderful community feel in a slice of paradise! 3 amazing nigts here, next time it will.be longer! This resort is set in the most beautiful location, and has rooms and facilities that are just as beautiful. Alila 1 was our room and wow it was like nothing I have ever stayed in, beautiful bamboo structure, outdoor bath, just everything was perfect. Pools are lovely, had a wonderful massage at the spa and dined at the restaurant numerous times with the meals being the best we had on our 11 day holiday, all the staff are next level as well, so happy and eager to please, we will definitely be back.

Such a special place surrounded by nature where every detail has been thought through with love and intention. Stayed with my parents and a good friend and they were mindblown by the beauty of Sidemen. Really recommend to explore around the area, surrounding landscapes and waterfalls are a must.
