Had a fabulous experience at Borderlands this weekend. They handled our large group with kids of different ages brilliantly and made sure that there was something fun for everyone to do pretty much all the time. Our canyoning trip was the highlight -- absolutely unforgettable. The guides were superb and safety standards extremely high. Back at camp the accommodation was...

Having been camping at various places in the UK my expectations were low but the accommodation at Borderlands greatly exceeded my expectations. I opted to stay in a tent which was on a raised wooden platform, with my own balcony over looking the river and a roof to protect my tent from the rain. Inside, the tent was equipped with...

Just did an epic trip with Borderlands canoeing down the Mahaweli from Mahiyangana to Manampitiya. What an amazing adventure. 3 nights/4 days on the river. Everything was perfect. The organizing of the trip, the safety aspect, the beautiful camp sites and the unimaginable food. Would do it again in a heartbeat. "This is what life is about'! Thank you Wade,...

I had a very special trip staying at a beautiful comfortable Riverside resort. I took part in a new whitewater canoe program which was a great way to get out on the river. The food and guides where top notch.

The staff running the activities at the camp are great. They are professional and have a cheerful disposition. The rafting and Cannoying were great fun. (Cannoying will stop in 2 years time due to dam being built... Sadly the end of the tourism industry for this area.) The food went down hill from our first day. The quality should be...

We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the camp on the riverside and the water activities - rafting, canyoning and Canadian style canoes. Well trained guides and a good attention to safety (as opposed to some of the other rafts we saw!) Simple hut/room looking over the river, you are part of the jungle and have to share with the wildlife...

This is a gem hidden away by the river with fantastic attentive staff who are happy to do anything to make your stay with them a success. While we were there the owner Wade was visiting and even entertained us in the evening with his band in the fabulous chill area the 'Longhouse'. We stayed three nights and were lucky...

The guides at Borderlands were great and we enjoyed rafting , cannoning and biking. The accommodation and food were good. When we stayed there were very large school groups at the camp. I would recommend you check before you book if large school groups will be present . The reality is the school group takes over the camp and detracts...

This place had amazing food, the most beautiful comfortable bar, lounge area. Booking and emailing system was really efficient and our rafting experience felt so well organised and safe. No other company had safety canoes...and we had two looking after us. We didn't realise there was accommodation too or we would have stayed here. Cannot recommend highly enough. It was...

When we were planning our trip to Sri Lanka we came across Borderlands and knew that it was a 'must' for our trip. This was the first place that we stayed and we went straight from the airport to there. It was a brilliant place to unwind and slow down into holiday pace. We stayed there 3 nights, we chilled...
