I had the opportunity visit this historic place after a long time few months ago. Although I'm not a golfer the club is a very pleasent setting with the architecture of the olden colonial times. Unfortunately you can't go into the club to enjoy a drink or to have food if you are not a member. I think if you...

This is the quintessential British country club, in the most unlikely British of settings. This is worth visiting just to appreciate how much the British Empire tried to take Britain with them wherever they went. Nice club, and great setting for a golf course. Worth the walk.

Went their expecting a beautiful golf course but was very dissopointed. The people working here are not at all pleasant and think they are doing us a favour. We had lunch one day which took an age to be brought to table. People cross the golf course all the time and there are kids from the neighbourhood playing on the...

We had lunch at the golf club and it was excellent! The garden area is lovely to have a beer and relax and then head to the dining area for lunch. The roasted cashew was excellent and I don't have pics as it disappeared quite fast! The cottage has been refurbished and looked nice and decent but quite a few...

Frankly speaking, not one of my most successful days on a golf course. but this over hundred years old course is extremely difficult with its long and really narrow fairways and with tricky old greens! But where ever do you have such an atmosphere on a golf course? And from prices all is very low, and caddies walking whole course...

The property is beautiful but is stuck in colonial era. The rules are too tight and you will always be treated as a second preference with the first preference being the members. The room allotted to us was very small for a family to be anyway comfortable and after complaining of the TV not working it was changed to a...

Stayed for the second time for a day but not again. Very cold welcome and no one is interested about the customer. Registration card is given (rather thrown) at the customer even with out a pen to fill. Extremely dirty rooms especially the old wing. I'm a shor haired person but my room had more than 5 long hairs every...
