The location, view and service here is absolutely lovely. Very nice warm people run this place but it really does need a little bit of heat. The place is very damp and smells of damp. As Nuwara Eliya is so much higher it's a good bit chillier and wetter by day so when you've been out in it all day...

I was surprised to climb these high stairs leading to the hotel , but when I reached the top it was really worth it . A very nice view that we can also admire from the balcony of the main common room .The hotel is nicely located 5 min walking distance from the city center, facing the long trees of...

This place was one of the only places with space when we arrived. The owner was perfectly friendly and the place was in a great location. The trevene - it's sister hotel (original colonial) would have been a better choice and we went there for a lovely breakfast one morning. However, the room was cold and smelt damp. Wasn't terribly...

A large room for the family, warm beds and hot water. Near the city center. What do you need more? Gopal is very friendly and helpful without pushing. Let's you decide what option to take. If we need to mention a little minus point: due to the humid climate a bit more ventilation of the rooms would not harm.

This hotel has great rooms for reasonable price. Staff was really frandly and useful. They helped us to find all interest places near. They also arranged the trip to Hortons Planes for us with a good driver. This hotel has really good bedding because it is quite cold at the night and good blankets are really important. I highly recommend...

It's really basic accommodation for the price. Great location near town and overlooks the park. The owner seems nice but everything about the place is quite run down. alright for me but my wife didn't feel comfortable. NIce if the owner tried to improve the place a bit.

I arrived at the Trevene, cold and soggy after having cycled to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. They were full but directed me to the Park View Guest House which is owned by the same person. On the plus side, it is near to town and has hot water. On the other hand, there was nothing else on offer - no...

We had a triple room with an en-suite downstairs. The guest house itself is mainly set up for backpackers with shared bathroom. There is a small kitchen were you can make tea and basics. Guest house is 5 min walk from town and walking distance to everywhere around Nuwara Eliya. If you like birds, there is a good variety in...

I stayed for one night in nuwara eliya. When I arrived the bus station a men comes and tell us he has recommendation of accommodation. We ignored him as we had booked this guesthouse. We then meet the same person inside the guesthouse. The room is on the ground floor. The view outside is a nice garden. The bed is...
