This hotel is right on the beach, outside of the busy party area. There are loungers on the beach and you can spend all day relaxing and dipping in the ocean. The non-ac rooms are basic and include mosquito net, fan, shower, balcony. Our rate included breakfast and it was delicious (omelette, toast & preserves, tea/coffee). The location is close...

Don't stay here! We stayed here and paid extra for A/c which didn't work. After numerous complaints the Mannager all he did was play with the A/c remote and said the power is not good??? Upon checking out the owner still wanted us to pay full price for A/c room even tho I didn't work. Also the bathroom stank of...

We got to the tsunami hotel after a long day traveling and even though the price was too high we were tired to look for another hotel. The owner is rude and arrogant with the customers and with the staff. We took a room with AC which was not working properly and was not cooling the room at all. When...

We had dinner at this hotel. The food tasted good but was cold when we finally (after 2 times of reminding) got it.. Not to mention that my boyfriend got his food 30 minutes after I got my food. Last but not least, the food was way more expensive than other places at the beach. Would not recommend this place...

Although the rooms are basic and property itself is dated, the location is very good and the price is not too bad. The food offerings are limited but there are plenty of food options up and down the street. Internet only worked for me near the reception desk but my room was to the rear.

Complained about mouse poo. Manager said something would be done. Nothing was. The same incident happened. We left mid way through our stay. This seems to be a ongoing problem. Great beach and gardens. Managers friend attempted to chat up my female friend when I was away. Management (and friends of) should separate with guests in this area. Good location....

It was very disappointing experience to stay in Tsunami as we checked the reviews before hand. The owner of the hotel Nalim constantly was trying to sell us something, tuk-tuk, dinners, tours .. We couldn't even spend a minute in the hotel area without him bothering us. ( he didnt bother to approach us , apart from just shouting to...

A bit dated cabanas, but location could not be better. Food too pricey and mediocre at best. Service is limited, and you have to make an effort to get served. The owner also a bit pushy, the day however very nice and helpful. Sadly the beach is filled with rubbish and also nails and broken glass - be careful when...

We moved to the Tsunami Hotel from another hotel and stayed there for the nights. We were a bit concerned after reading the reviews on here but went ahead anyway as everywhere was full. The hotel really isn't as bad as people make out. Our room was big and well designed. Yes there were ants, but most of the places...
