We did not research this hotel and did not arrive until after dark on a Friday evening. I was expecting it to be old and quaint due to the excellent historic location. The lobby was nice enough. Deceiving. Upon arriving in our room...the last one available, we discovered it was far from "quaint". The two double beds had very old and flat mattresses. The curtains to the balcony were coming down at one end. The carpet was filthy and it showed on our socks. This room must have been a suite at one time because the connecting door was missing a 2nd door knob. There was a hole in the wall though you couldn't see into the next room. We propped a chair under the one door knob for safety sake. The bathroom door was splintered majorly at the bottom. The water leaked in the

We couldn’t get into another hotel, so we booked this one. It’s cheap, reviews weren’t good, and our expectations were low. Surprise! Nice room (no dog or smoke smell) on 7th, nice little balcony. Clean and as nice as many of the Arlington’s rooms. Staff was nice. Stately old hotel. We were quite pleasantly surprised. By the way, we had a group of 7 rooms, including children, and no one complained to us (the hosts).

Boy was this a mistake. Where to begin. Front desk staff was the only reason I gave it one star. TV. Was to big for console, bed sagged on one side, towels were thread bare, etc. , they “cleaned” my room, but didn’t make the bed, whoops. Do not waste your time or money here.avoid at all cost.

Great place to stay if you want to shop and eat downtown. Clean. Some rooms have balconies, and they also have adjoining rooms. There is a restaurant and a really nice giftshop. Rates are pretty reasonable

When every door on your floor says non smoking but the floor stinks of smoke it's bad. Place needs a major upgrade. Spent our honeymoon here 16 years ago and I'm not sure much has changed. Good price for the location but place needs tlc.

Felt appreciated from the minute I walked in the door. Staff is great, very friendly and don't be surprised if you get involved in conversation with the bellman. Anyone working that area is a great source for info and recommendations. Hotel is a bit dated but spotless, room was spotless, great bed and very quiet. It's a block's walk to the parking garage but it's under constant video surveillance and locked from midnight until 6am so all is secure. If you're leaving earlier that 6 they will accommodate you and let you get to your vehicle. The only drawback was that it appeared only 1 of the 3 elevators was working. Hotel wasn't fully booked the 2 nights I stayed there so I never had an excessive wait for it. Already planning a trip back next year and I will stay here again.

I don't write many negative reviews; in a sense I'm without words. As you walk in the front, you are treated to a grand welcoming area which is quite nice. From there, the experience goes downhill very quickly. The young woman who checked us in was exceptionally rude, and she was accompanied by a few young men who were incredibly unprofessional in their behavior and manner. The room was dirty, but at least the sheets seemed clean, as did the bathroom. The AC fan was so noisy we finally turned it off. You have been advised. There are so many places to stay in Hot Springs, why would anyone want to stay here, at least with the present evening staff?

We enjoyed our stay in Hot Springs this weekend. Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant and the air conditioner worked super great. We didn't have any complaints except for the parking for motorcycles was not good in the parking lot. If not for that, I would have given a five star rating. We will be happy to stay here again.

A two night stay at this hotel is plenty. Although it's location is great, there are a couple drawbacks. Parking is a commodity in this area of town. Parking for this hotel is a journey in the alley behind the hotel and up a hill. Furnishings are dated but otherwise clean. My biggest complaint would be the wifi. Slow to nothing would best describe it. For the price and location it was worth 3 stars.

The hotel was dated, but very historic! The staff was awsome! My family, and I had a great time. The hotel is in a perfect location to everything! The rooms are large with wonderful views! If you are in Hot Springs this may not be a perfect hotel, but you will enjoy yourself!
