This was my 4th time staying at this hotel and each time It there better and better. The staff is so welcoming. The bar area is great for hanging. You do not feel trapped in your room. The shuttle was w huge perk!
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 4 years and they ALWAYS do a great job from check in to check out. The staff is always cheerful and helpful, the room is very nicely appointed (much better than the typical DoubleTree), clean and comfortable. But on my last stay, the night manager Mohammed went over, above and beyond! We found a small bunny with a broken leg laying outside on the street. Mohammed not only got us a box with a lid for the animal but paid out of his own pocket for the bunny to be transported by Union Cab Company to the University Vet School. Of course the bunny had to be euthanized but at least he didn’t die a slow death on the side of the street. Mohammed is truly a gem!!! I hope Mohammed's exemplary customer service will be recognized by your management. Such a wonderful human being! Thank you again for a wonderful stay in Madison!…
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Very last minute, I had to book a 10+ group reservation, which the sales team was able/happy to accommodate. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was awesome. They greeted us in good spirits, and gave us all warm chocolate chip cookies. The check-in process was very smooth, no bumps, which is something I look for/remember for future travel. The lobby & rooms were very clean, along with the restaurant/bar area. The breakfast was delicious, and the parking was super easy. For future business & personal travel, this will be the first hotel that I call. Thank you!
9/25 a Drunk Fat Tattooed Entitled Bride spent her Wedding Night Screaming down the halls to her guests (I can only assume they were trying to escape from her.) We called Security who told us they had several other callers. When we asked the Bride to talk elsewhere she used her outside voice to tell us after terrorizing the floors of the hotel for 3 hours that it was only one day. I pointed out that it wasn't MY wedding day and she was ruining everyone's sleep at which time she called me "rude". Can you imagine? The Groom who agreed to get her to quiet down responded in a very loud voice, and Security chased them off the floor at 2am for a 2nd time. Security and the Groom were ineffective. Sadly this happened when the hotel was likely having a hard time hiring. People don't be jerks! Whisper in a hotel hallway. PS. The Bride should have had to pay for my room and everyone who had to call the front desk.…
Just returned from Madison, and wanted to share my experience with you. Upon checking in at the DoubleTree downtown, we were greeted warmly by front desk employee, Karen. During our stay we had many interactions with the staff. Each and every employees greets you with a smile and goes above and beyond to make sure that their guests are happy! One person In particular I'd like to give a huge shout out to is, Maddie Mintz (The Front Desk Manager). Maddie is patient, courteous and oh so knowledgeable. I would definitely say she is a HUGE asset to the Hilton Brand and should be recognized for her patience and thoughtfulness and caring towards her customers. Thank you Maddie, for all you do!! PS I must mention the warm chocolate chip cookie. DELISH!!!
