Located on the campus of Wisconsin University. Good location, rooms are nice and clean. over all it was a good experience. The bed was comfortable and it was close to where I had to attend a meeting/class. Nice view of the lake.

Stayed here for a conference held on campus, the hotel is a converted dorm building that is half hotel rooms and half university offices. It doesnʻt look like much from the outside, but the room was decent and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was remarkable - with hot options as well as continental breakfast, waffles and eggs made to order.

I was very pleased with my two-night stay at the Lowell Center. I enjoyed a spacious room with a beautiful lake view. The bed was comfy and I slept great! The room had a Keurig and they have extra coffee pods at the front desk, which was a nice treat. The staff was super helpful and courteous. I couldn't have...

Stayed overnight on a Sunday night at the Lowell Center while attending our annual Advanced Placement Conference at the Pyle Center. Great location. We walked down to State Street and visited a few shops and the HopCap tavern. Ate supper at the Tutto Pasta restaurant on State Street. I even forgot my glasses in the hotel room and they mailed...

I arrived at 10:20AM and had warned that I would want to check in early. The desk clerk simply said, "Check in is at 3PM." I knew that and was not trying to demand anything different, but at the same time, it should be a simple task to ask housekeeping to do my room next, since no one else was...

The location is near UW Madison campus and it's one of the most reasonable price that perfect for campus-related events. It is also near the State St and Lake Mendota which will give you perfect Madison experience. The bed is big enough for standard room and the breakfast was ok. But I feel the room is too cold for non-US...

My colleagues and I stayed 2 nights here for a conference. The location is terrific for downtown and university campus. Our conference was a 2 minutes walk to the Pyle Center. Rooms are a bit outdated but comfortable and clean. We had breakfast included in our rate and it had some cereal, tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt and also hard boiled...

I have stayed here a few times and there is a significant difference between a deluxe and regular room. This time I did a deluxe and I would never go back to a standard room again. The deluxe are renovated with new bathrooms and climate control. Lots of tv channels. Breakfast was ok. Appreciated the fresh eggs. Sausage was overcooked.

Have stayed here several times. Nothing fancy. A bit dated. But you can't beat the location just off State Street and Lake Mendota. Excellent breakfast. It's for people on university business and parents of students. Not well known, which means you have a chance of getting a room on a weekend.

While the location of the Lowell Center (and the free breakfast) is great, I had a lot of problems with my rooms. The first room I was assigned to was on the first floor, and the TV did not work. There was also no AC, but they had a sufficient fan, so that was not a huge issue. The biggest...
