This was our second time staying at Kayu and we could not have been more happy. Marvin Flores and his family and staff took such good care of us and made us feel like family. Marvin's mother is the Executive Chef and her team creates tasty local dishes that suit the whole family. The local culture is friendly and the...

Kayu is an amazing place to stay, just in front of Sunzal Beach and all the staff are great...the food is really good and the sunrises there are amazing. A really good choice for a surf trip with friends or family!

Marvin and his staff made our trip one to remember! The resort had great views and was a relaxing retreat. Our activities included surfing, swimming, hiking, and admiring the natural environment. We enjoyed trips to the volcano, fish market, waterfalls, and the village. Thanks to Marvin's attention to detail, all of our special requests were granted!

Our son wants to learn to surf. There is a cooperative of surfers that are located out of Kayu. I was directed by another parent who is a surfer (I am not). We called in advance, made an appointment with the instructor. Showed up on Saturday a little early so the kids could play. The the rainy season the beach...

I stayed here for three nights at the end of two weeks in El Salvador. We treated ourselves to the luxurious big rooms overlooking the pool and weren't disappointed (they weren't even that expensive!). The staff and owners were super friendly and collected us from another hostel and arranged our airport transfer. It's got an epic view over el sunzal...

Nice view, great pancakes, nice clean rooms. You get what you pay for. Good staff. Great for surf. AC works perfectly, witch is key in El Salvador, because it's so hot. 5 minutes away from the colorfull tourist spot of El Tunco. 10 minutes away from the famous restaurant "La Ola de Beto".
