We were recommended this b/b on a Trip Advisor forum. What a find. Tom and Dana couldn’t do enough for us. They recommended places to eat which were excellent and they recommended things to do. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday while...More

The next time I go to New Orleans, I’ll schedule the trip around B&W availability. This place was perfect for a ladies weekend. Great food, great location, and great accommodation. Thanks Tom and Dana!
Location can’t be beat. Free on street parking just leave your car and explore on foot. Yummy breakfast place across the street.
Pros: location, quite & with very whimsical courtyards.
Cons: disappointed in the back cottage.

B&W Courtyards is an 1854 Creole compound consisting of three historic cottages connected by lush tropical courtyards. An architectural award winner, B&W Courtyards is just 3 blocks from the music clubs on ...MoreFrenchmen Street and 4 blocks from the French Market - close to the action but in a quiet neighborhood for when it's time to relax. Featured in Travel & Leisure magazine. A/C, cable, private baths. Hosts Dana & Tom are known for their knowledge of New Orlean's diverse cultural scene: jazz, rhythm & blues and funk music; social aid and pleasure club second line parades. We take breakfast seriously at B&W Courtyards Bed and Breakfast: serving classic south Louisiana breakfast dishes accompanied by fresh fruit compotes, juices, New Orleans blend coffee and an assortment of teas. Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
