My daughter in law and I have just spent the weekend here, my husband and I are visiting our children from South Africa ... and my only disappointment is that we couldn't have stayed longer! They were fully booked when we tried to make a reservation, but once my daughter in law called them from Florida to see whether they...

Loved this place, I cannot say enough good things~truly. Where to start... When I called to find out about booking they were friendly and helpful about what to anticipate for our first stay in NOLA especially for Halloween. They called two days before our arrival to see when we would be checking in to make sure if it wasn't while...

I stayed at the Creole Gardens for only one night, but I couldn't help but wish we could have stayed longer. The place was absolutely charming. We were made to feel right at home and the people could not have been any friendlier! First of all, there is free parking. That saves so much money right there. The decor is...

Staff was wonderful! The property manager was very helpful in directing us to the St. Charles Street Car and giving us ideas for things to do in our short time. The kitchen staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This B&B provided a great New Orleans experience!! Would definitely stay there again!!

We've stayed at Creole Gardens before. This quaint inn is so charming. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's located in Garden District, but just a short drive to the French Quarter. It's also located just one block from the trolley. If you love out of the way, authentic places to stay, you're going to love this inn. The breakfast...

My husband and I stopped at the Creole Gardens on our way from Austin to Florida. We were immediately sold when speaking to Karen over the phone for booking and were not disappointed when we checked in. The whole B&B had a lovely atmosphere and our room was perfect for the night. Laika our puppy was happy as a clam...

We really enjoyed our stay here. For one, the location was perfect and the free parking was definitely a bonus. It also felt very classic New Orleans as far as architecture and feel. The room was very clean and had all the amenities. The water pressure was a little disappointing though. The breakfast in the morning was really good and...

Thank you so much...for your recommendation of us AND our local restaurants. We enjoyed your visit and are looking forward to seeing you again. We're sorry about the water pressure. It's a common problem here in New Orleans, especially in such an antique building.

Easy access to transportation on trolley on St. Charles. Lots of choices for dining within a few blocks. About 5 blocks from WWII museum. Charming breakfast room with delicious breakfasts. Outdoor courtyard with banana trees and fountains. Interesting and colorful rooms at good value, and very helpful staff. We were so pleased.

This hotel was juuuuust right. We were looking for a quiet, comfortable place, away from the St. Patrick's Day craze. Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
