My favorite Hampton Property because of location and staff. The property is located downtown, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, French Quarters and Jackson Square. The St Charles Street Car provides excellent transportation to many sites, and runs in front of the property. The staff is friendly and professional.

The hotel is good and comfortable. Rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable. Great location. Breakfast is okay but weak. No bacon, choices weak in paper with plastic. I can recommend the hotel. A good place for the money.

Fantastic property - rooms are large, modern and beds are comfortable. And the location...just steps away from all the action. You can walk anywhere in the French Quarter from there. Also street cars lines pass close-by. Staff were polite and friendly.

This hotel was amazing and beautiful. The rooms are awesome, very clean, very spacious and have basically anything you could want. This is also the perfect location - it's far enough away from the chaos of the French Quarter but close enough if you like chaos!

Stayed for 2 nights to see downtown NOLA for first time. Convenient locations a few blocks from Bourbon Street, Warehouse District, and WW2 Museum. Not a lot more to the hotel than the room and location, but no complaints. Friendly staff and standard accommodations for a decent Hampton. Would stay again.

This hotel is located a couple blocks from the action of the French Quarter so it is a great location - close without all the noise. Very large rooms, great bedding, large bathroom, etc. Breakfast is included and it is okay - eggs, fruit, breads and it does the job getting you started. Good coffee and other drinks. My only...

This hotel is withing easy walking distance of Bourbon st , the trolley runs in front of the hotel but still far enough away that one can sleep without the 24/7 party noise on the street. Breakfast is typical Hampton but the breakfast area seating is large. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and well maintained. I do recommend...

We stayed for 2 days after returning from a cruise. We arrived at 9:30am expecting to have to leave our bags and go to the Saints football game. But the receptionist was able to get us in a room even that early! It was great. The room was spacious and clean. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I would...

I truly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the time allowed of 4 hours which gave me the flexibility of when i wanted to rise before the cafeteria closed. Also the fitness room. I was also granted an early checkin and checkout without hesitation.

Excellent location. You do not need a car if you are a healthy individual. You can walk to everything. We walked to French market, river walk, super dome, WW2 museum and bourbon street. Plenty of eating establishments and jaz bars within walking distance!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
